The best thing about the Back Porch is being able to wait for your table with a frozen drink on the beach. With your feet in the sand. We have been vacationing in Destin for 22 years and avoided going to the Back Porch for a minor dislike about 10 years ago. What a mistake.. Get to The Back Porch before 6 p.m. We just beat the rush! The food was all excellent, especially the oysters on the halfshell. The atmosphere is very busy, but you can wait on the beach and there is a playground for the kids. We had good service as well. We will return! more
