To find this restaurant is worth the hunt. I just wish I had gone to it along time ago, like I had planned. Anyway, if you find the Target in Destin, FL on Hwy 98, Gulf Shores Dr intersects right in front of it. As soon as you turn onto it, La Paz sits on the left, back a little... More

The meal started off with my daughter ordering Sprite, and getting carbonated water. When I was finally able to get the waitress' attention, she acted like we were just making trouble for her. I asked her to bring an iced tea instead and she did. Margaritas are small, but very strong. We ordered the Fajitas-early bird pricing. I asked for... More

Very disappointing experience and way over priced. Ridiculous cost for a margarita and the meal seemed like a frozen dinner. Not impressed at all.

My wife & I come here at least once every trip to Destin. The food is excellent and is a cut above the typical Mexican fare, even "good" Mexican places. I particulary like the tasty sauces delivered with the taco chips The decor is much nicer than typical and the place is not purposefully made to look like a brightly... More

"The closest thing to authentic Mexican in the area." In an area that is 'required' to feature seafood, it's hard to find good Tex-Mex. La Paz is the best in town. The food is delicious & the bar is impressive. The restaurant's interior is charming and warm; it's a place where it is very easy to enjoy a meal.

I don't know why everyone is bonkers over the fish tacos here. My wife and I ordered the fish tacos to go (we didn't venture in with our 2 year old son having a fussy day). First of all, the price is too high. I ordered the lunch fish taco (not tacos, taco). It came with rice and beans (nothing... More

Tonight, my hubby, toddler son, and I ate at La Paz. We ordered the fish tacos for ourselves and quesadilla for our son. This New Mexico style restaurant surpassed our expectations. The chili con queso cup was the perfect appetizer with the complimentary chips and salsa. The fish tacos were freshly grilled and delicious and paired with black beans and... More

Pitcher of margaritas, though good, were very expensive. Fish tacos were good, crab enchiladas very bland. Will not come back.
