This is a basic run of the mill beach restaraunt. If you want good seafood I might suggest somewhere else. Keep in mind we didn't try the "big ticket items" such as crab, lobster, or steamed shrimp so maybe they do those really well...although based on the piece of fish I got, I doubt it. Great location on the beach. Nice view of the surf and sunset. But the food was uninspired and on par with Red Lobster or perhaps a tad worse in that the fish was a little dry and firm. No great offerings of local fair so go for the view but don't expect a great local gem or find. The kids... more

Like all of the "sea-side" restaurants in Destin, the attraction here is the location. The food is better than most of "sea-sides" as is the cleanliness of the place. Atmosphere was great - open air dining with the waves crashing in the background. But the food was just average. The She-Crab soup didn't seem fresh, maybe reheated from lunch. The rest of the dinner was just okay, but nothing worth returning for. Probably will not be back. more
