Great atmosphere

The blackened mahi was amazing! Generous portions. I ate the remainder of mine the next day. It was still just as flavorful. On a July night it was SO hot! We were sweating!!! Our appetizer took a while to get but the waiter was very nice.

Hammerheads is a decent option if you're looking for a nice patio with a great view and live music. Unfortunately, the food is less than average (not to mention expensive), even for beach fare. Had higher expectations and left disappointed.

Hostess never smiled - simply said yes we have a table and walked us to a spot and uttered, "Someone will see you soon." Hindsight - should have left then, but we loved the atmosphere and it truly appeared like a nice place. The server came over about 5 minutes later and asked us what we wanted.....kind of peculiar since... More

Food was good, but overpriced. Server was friendly, but overall service was slow. Overlooks the bay and only has outdoor seating. Fun nightlife with occasional live bands. Not kid-friendly during all open hours.

We got there prior to the dinner crowed and were seated right away. The live music and awesome location made it a very nice experience. The food was good but not out of this world. It's a bit higher in price but that has to be expected because of its location. After dinner we strolled around the area as it... More

I thought this was going to be another over cooked tourist trap! I glad I was wrong! I ordered the calypso mahi mahi. The fish was tender and fresh. My husband grouper sandwich was lightly battered and juicy! If your staying at Sandestin Resort I recommend this place!

We had four sandwiches. Over $100. I'm betting its so expensive because of the location. There are so many other places in the area that are worth that kind of money....this one is not. However, the location is great. So was the service. The food was really good...just not worth that. Except the hush puppies. Those were terrible.

Fantastic food and scenic views of the gulf coast, parking is a bit troublesome, not enough for a full house

I stopped by this place with a friend to pass the time before a flight home. It was outdoors, on the water and staffed by great folks. It served fresh oysters and the dollar bills stapled all over from guest was a folksy touch. The dollars had personal messages and the home town of those who left them. There was... More
