My bride and I went here for dinner while spending a weekend at the beach...very much enjoyed it. First, the atmosphere is very nice; the dining section, the bar and the outdoor eating area are all very plush. We sat inside (was nice enough to sit outside but wanted a more formal atmosphere) and were served by Celeste, who was... More

I like this place--good seafood and fresh vegetables . However service this time was very slow. Check out dessert list!

The salads are GREAT! There is salmon..and then a club salad of seafood. Both very, very tasty. Top it off with a hand-made margarita (not your frozen, blended type most restaurant have!) and you have yourself a terrific lunch. Sit outside on the beautiful day "always" in Sandestin...and smiles galore! Enjoy the tasty treats, the season, and the company!

I wouldn't go back to Mitchell's . As just ok! To many outstanding restaurants close by to get subpar service and food. My husband like the gumbo but I so unimpressed I forgot what I are!

For appetizers and drinks this is best place around Sandestin. $5 small plates. We recommend shrimp dish. $5 drinks. Main restuarant is good but we usually fill up on appetizers (and drinks). Happy hour 5-7

We ate at Mitchell's with 4 friends. The restaurant is nicely done and the food was good but the prices were a little high. Reasonable seafood meals are available all up and down the panhandle and all or most is very good. The price makes the difference.

Since May 2014, consistently disappointed in the food. Last meal was last Friday had an adorable server Victoria. She was wonderful but the food itself is consistently disappointing. Table or bar service

We came here for lunch and ordered the surf and turf burger (angus beef & lobster) which was excellent but the lobster taste did not come through -- it was overpowered by the beef -- and the ocean cobb salad which was very good, despite some wilted lettuce. The Angus beef was cooked exactly as ordered, which was appreciated. Ask... More

There are better choices out there. I had the Lobster Alfredo and they obviously kept it under the warmer to long because the alfredo sauce had made the noodles impossible to eat without cutting it up with a knife and fork. One person in our party had the Shrimp Scampi with Garlic and she said there was no garlic in... More

We have our favorites when we visit Destin and customarily we routinely make our rounds to these restaurants without hesitation. This trip we decided to step out of our comfort zone and dine at Mitchell's Fish Market. OMG what a gastronomical delight!!! The twin lobster tail platter came truly piping hot and succulent with the best drawn butter I have ever... More
