There are better choices out there. I had the Lobster Alfredo and they obviously kept it under the warmer to long because the alfredo sauce had made the noodles impossible to eat without cutting it up with a knife and fork. One person in our party had the Shrimp Scampi with Garlic and she said there was no garlic in... More

We have our favorites when we visit Destin and customarily we routinely make our rounds to these restaurants without hesitation. This trip we decided to step out of our comfort zone and dine at Mitchell's Fish Market. OMG what a gastronomical delight!!! The twin lobster tail platter came truly piping hot and succulent with the best drawn butter I have ever... More

Our entire family and a friend dined together at Mitchell's last night. And we were all smiles, throughout the evening. The restaurant has a new manager, and it seems like he really has the kitchen and servers operating as a finely-tuned team. This is a fantastic time of year to go to Mitchell's, with much of the summertime traffic gone,... More

wife had the lobster tail, I had a stuffed flounder with crab and lobster. My son had shrimp dish that had an unbievable brooth. Waiter was great and knew his menu. Nice high end district.

Great wine list. We had 10 in our party and got shoved in a back room, so service suffered, but everyone really enjoyed their entrees. Thought it was too high for the quality though. We do a lot of fine dining and this was just not up to snuff with others at same price point.

We used to come here for happy hour all the time before a movie and our bartender was a girl named Kelsey. Well she is gone now and so is the personality of Mitchel's. The server/bartenders told us they got bought out by Ruth's Chris corporate and they didn't seem all too happy about it either. The service was less... More

if you are in the Sandestin FL area and enjoy fresh seafood this is the place to go. Forget the fish restaurants down in Destin harbor on the waterfront who just sell you a view. This is very good dining. Nice menu with daily fresh catches both local catch and flown in. Owner has a liking for the old luxury... More

Visited based solely on its proximity to Sandestin. Pricey but to be expected. We sat at the bar. Very quiet atmosphere. Would try elsewhere before returning here.

We stopped here for a late lunch and we are extremely happy that we did. We started off with cocktails because we are on vacation:) The cucumber collins drink was very refreshing. The calamari appetizer was the bees knees! Their secret was soaked in buttermilk...yum! The ahi tuna was delicious. The mussels were also phenomenal! I could go on and... More
