I, along with friends, have enjoyed several great lunches at this very, very nice and nautical themed restaurant. The service is impeccable along with stunning appetizers and fresh seafood entrees. My friends and I had blackened grouper that melted in one's mouth and a feast for the eyes in presentation, along with Ahi tuna that was perfection. One friend had... More

Our first experience was lunch and we enjoyed their delicious Clam Chowder! We stopped in for Happy Hour a few days later and enjoyed Crispy Calamari, Pretzels with Beer Cheese dip (lovely fat freshly made pretzels & the dip is so-o-o-o yummy!) Fish tacos and Shrimp Ceviche! Amanda waited on us and was so good at her job! The bar... More

off season here so we were desperate for seafood. Stopped in here and encountered John, our knowledgable waitperson. He suggested a pinefin martini for me and steered us to the steamed salmon, scallops and shrimp on a bed of rice infused with a soy sauce reduction with steamed spinach. My Ocean Cobb salad was wonderful as John subbed spinach for... More

Went to Mitchell's for lunch, it was very taste. I had the shrimp scampi capellini, it was very good. I also had a spinach salad which was to die for. My husband had the cod topped with lobster and a cup of clam chowder, he said both were very good. They brought us delicious crunchy bread which is always a... More

A downhill slide A year ago the food was fresh, well-presented & cooked with taste Lunch today was terrible. I ordered cod & chips. No salt was on the table & no bread was offered ("you have to ask for it") My wifes gumbo was tasty but lukewarm. My cod was soft & mushy ("must have been a bloodline") --frankly... More

We arrived in Destin on February 2nd, ate at Mitchell's the first night and went back the following Saturday. So we did enjoy it. My wife had the cod topped with lobster both times and I had the special cod with shrimp and lobster the first time and yellow fin tuna on a cedar plank the second time. The tuna... More

After a long day on the road, I wanted a relaxing, light dinner to unwind. Mitcthells was an easy walk from my hotel. Had a salad, and the lobster bisque, along with a nice freshly baked bread. I will go again.

Maybe because it was a holiday but the food and service was average and the prices seemed rather high. Do not recommend the pomegranate marguerita.

We loved the food and customer service! The BBQ Bacon wrapped shrimp were amazing! Our fried seafood plate was perfectly cooked and big on flavor!
