As a former employee of this restaurant I can confidently say that none of the ingredients are either frozen or canned, as another reviewer suggested. Fresh produce, seafood, etc. is delivered daily, and prepared deliciously. If you go on a Sunday, be sure to have someone in your party order the Osso Bucco. I would make other suggestions, but everything... more

I read the review above and decided to try it. Over priced canned and frozen food. Expect to pay $22 a plate for something you can buy in the frozen food section of your local Publix. more

Friends recommended Il Girasole to us. We hadn't heard of it before but were anxious to give it a try. How glad we were! It is a family run restaurant that has been in Delray for over 25 years.
