Great Place for Atmosphere...and House Specialty---Tuna in Delray Beach!

This is another fine Restaurant on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach! It always amazes me that some people go to a South Florida Restaurant, not knowing either the Chef or having spoken to a single Customer and feel comfortable in ordering a Market Rate Stone Crab. There are not that many places in... read more

What used to be my favourite DelRay restaurant is off my list . In addition to not honourng our dinner res for 8 people the woman at the door was extremely rude. After waiting for half an hour our party left and got a table at Buddah Sky Bar down the street. Meal was excellent and we were promptly welcomed... More

This is another fine Restaurant on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach! It always amazes me that some people go to a South Florida Restaurant, not knowing either the Chef or having spoken to a single Customer and feel comfortable in ordering a Market Rate Stone Crab. There are not that many places in South Florida that pull that off successfully(Joe's... More

I hadn't dined here in a while, but I was thrilled to discover that the owner/chef if still creating excellent food. Best mussels I've had anywhere, truly extraordinary. The wild salmon was perfectly prepared, a real treat in this world of tasteless, farmed salmon of questionable origins. Friend had snapper with lobster shrimp sauce which he said was excellent too.... More

The stone crabs at a whopping $18 bucks apiece were not worth it. They were nowhere near those of Joe's in South Beach. Middle neck clams were really little necks. Oysters were ok and my wife's linguini nad clam sauce was very good. My seared snapper was dry although the vegetables were good. Home miade key lime pie was excellent.... More

What used to be an excellent eatery is now a place to avoid! Overpriced food and drinks, poor customer service, and certainly not the place my Wife and I used to relish going to! Undercooked/raw pork special. Stone crabs that were still frozen. Excellent mussels I must admit, but will not go back until the season is over and things... More

My shrimp and scallop etufe was lacking. It consisted of 2 shrimp and 2 scallops with a bland brown sauce over an inadequate amount of rice. This luncheon portion cost $20.My wife's Maui salad for $18 consisted of a dried piece of fish over some nice greens. To their credit they redid the fish properly.I had a red seafood chowder as an... More

We are frequent visitors to Delray Beach, and we always return to J&J. While it's on the avenue it's not a typical overly hyped Atlantic Avenue resteraunt. The ambiance is layed back and comfortable. Add great seafood and knowledgable and friendly servers and you have a winning combination.

Good food with average service . Small ordinary place nothing to Bragg about...fresh seafood. Chef owner so it shows that he cares about quality of his food.

We had a lovely meal here of small plates. The server was very good and the food was tasty. We had oysters a few ways and the seafood trio but the highlight was the ceviche. I believe it was a special. It was just spicy enough to be delicious.

The food is always fresh and good. Evening specials every night. Everything is homemade and waitstaff is polite and helpful. One of our favorite go to places. Serves only beer and wine but good selections.
