We are frequent visitors to Delray Beach, and we always return to J&J. While it's on the avenue it's not a typical overly hyped Atlantic Avenue resteraunt. The ambiance is layed back and comfortable. Add great seafood and knowledgable and friendly servers and you have a winning combination.

Good food with average service . Small ordinary place nothing to Bragg about...fresh seafood. Chef owner so it shows that he cares about quality of his food.

We had a lovely meal here of small plates. The server was very good and the food was tasty. We had oysters a few ways and the seafood trio but the highlight was the ceviche. I believe it was a special. It was just spicy enough to be delicious.

The food is always fresh and good. Evening specials every night. Everything is homemade and waitstaff is polite and helpful. One of our favorite go to places. Serves only beer and wine but good selections.

This is a great family owned restaurant. The seafood is fresh and the service is great. I would highly recommend stopping in for a meal.

A small restaurant that turns out 5 star food in a fun, casual friendly atmosphere. Started off with a potato crusted scallop appetizer with a mango/fresh corn relish - a combination of taste and presentation where you look at each other and say "wow". I had the seared snapper special on risotto with rockschrimp and fresh asparagus - need I... More

I was looking for a place to have lunch 10 years ago while visiting family. Walked in looking for some clams and oysters. Ten years later I come here every visit for the fresh fish and the interesting menu. Always made fresh - nothing pre-made. Love the crab cakes.

I once made my partner cry by feeding him an amazing fish pie recipe, I have never repeated the experience......that is until we went to J&J seafood. Service great, wine choice excellent, but describing the meal is making me work really hard! The grouper we had was cooked absolutely perfectly, with an amazing risotto and sauce, and my partner braved... More

J and J's is a very small restaurant. It is a couple blocks East of the main "Delray scene"... but close to the intracoastal, a quick walk from the dock if you boat to Delray. It is small, but don't be afraid to get a reservation, or wait for a table. J and J creates an extensive number of 'specials'... More

The food at this restaurant is phenomenal start to finish. We started out with the appetizer special of shrimp on grits done in a Cajun/Creole type of fashion, but not spicy. This dish also had A garnish of fried okra. It all went together very nicely. Next we had a sampler of the three types of oysters they had that... More
