Always a warm welcome

It's not "on the Avenue" in Delray, so the prices are a little more manageable for those of us who aren't trust fund babies. Tim Finnegan's is full of people from Ireland! This should tell you just what I discovered--that it is the real deal. Warm atmosphere, Irish charm, and foot-tapping music. The owners are gracious and attentive. It's a large place with the cozy feel of a small pub. Sunday afternoons feature a live session with musicians playing their fiddles, guitars, banjoes, at... Great food great service great people and most importantly great craic. I hadn't been to Fort Lauderdale and the surrounding areas in fifteen years and was saddened to see my favourite Irish bar had gone to the dogs then I found this wee gem. The owners were lovely people as were the staff. Thanks to Lisa Walsh and Co hopefully... More

I have known Lisa (the owner) for many years. She is so lovely and it is always a pleasure to visit her pub. My husband just had my 60th birthday party there. The food and service were wonderful. The music was such fun. A little bit of Ireland in Delray Beach!!

The menu is your typical Irish pub menu... corned beef and cabbage, etc. Food was very tasty and portions quite generous. The place is spacious, comfortable and clean. Wait staff is ultra friendly. We were there early on a Friday, and were seated immediately, but by the time we left, the place was filling up. I didn't ask whether they... More

I love pubs as beer joints, but I will not eat in most of them. Finnegan's is an exception I have gone there for several meals, and have take friends. The place is old school proper, not a smokey, greasy, beer smelling dive. Usually has a good local attendance with some local characters harmlessly holding court. The fish sandwich and... More

We held our son's rehearsal dinner here. Arrangements were made through Lisa and she made is such a pleasurable experience. She was extremely easy to work with as she wanted to accommodate our group. The night of the dinner, we were even about 30 minutes late because of the rehearsal. We were all so hungry when we arrived. Thankfully, Lisa... More

We decided to go there the day before ST. Patty's Day because we heard it was a zoo there on that day. They have a limited menu but with all the good Irish items. I had the Shepherd's Pie and loved it. Could only eat 1/2 of it. My husband had the Fish and Chips, which was also large and... More

We always schedule our car servicing around noon so we can walk across the street to have lunch here. This food is always fresh and delicious. This strip of Federal Hwy is a bit of a "food desert" so Finnegan's is a great find!

Our first visit to Finnegan's Pub was a blast. Went on a Friday night. The live music was great and the food was very good. Large portions. The chicken curry and the shepherd's pie were winners. We will definitely go back.
