Sharon, our wonderful hostess & owner, made us feel welcomed after a long day of traveling. Anthony, our outstanding waiter, advised us on various dishes, complete with the history of how Sharon spent time in Italy learning to make the best pizzas and casual Italian dishes, complete with the awesome taste of the decidedly plain San Marzano tomato sauce---what a... Look no futher for your favorite pizza. The Regina Margherita at Scuola Vecchia is amazing! This wood fired oven pizza is as it gets. Owner Sharon Aloisio prepares every ingredient in house from scratch daily, even the buffalo mozzarella! Her son Sean, the pizza master, cooks every pie to perfection in the 1,000 degree oven! This family run operation has... More

We loved the pizza and cannot believe it took us so long to finally try this place. We had a delicious burrata and arugala appetizer and finally settled on a white and a red pizza. Both were awesome and the crust and flavors were perfect. This place compares with Mario Batali's Pizzeria Moza of LA and EVO of Charleston, which... More

This was one of several restaurants that we tried during our recent visit to Delray Beach. What makes it special is the truly outstanding pizza, equal, if not superior, in quality to the best of places like Frank Pepe in New Haven or even Milan (Italy). If ordinary pizza bores you, they offer numerous unusual toppings, such as fresh arugula... More

For the budget conscious, there is a well-priced, early dinner. The pizza and salads are fresh and well-prepared. Sharing a few different salads and pizzas is a fun to explore the menu. There is a nice selection of wines, and the staff is great about making recommendations. Service is friendly and sometimes borders on being "family style." (The waiter brought... More

This small Italian cafe is located opposite the historic Colony House Hotel on vibrant Atlantic Avenue in downtown Delray Beach, Florida. It has a nice selection of wines too. Pizzas are superb. Charred crusts.

This not the perfect pizza that one would find at Delfina in San Francisco, or at La Gallina in Rome, but it's the best anywhere near Delray Beach. The ingredients are fresh and local. They are prepared a la Napoli, with deft original touches. Favorites include a pizza with sweet-savory combination of fresh figs and prosciutto, and another with pistachio... More

My husband and I just had lunch here today and the pizza was very good but not exceptional for the money. We ordered the more expensive margarita pizza and it came with little cherry tomatoes on top, I do not think the extra $3.00 was worth it. The individual pizza start at $11.00 all the way up to $19.00 We... More
