Three of us dined at Max's on Monday evening. We sat outdoors in the back patio, warmed by a heat lamp- very pleasant and quieter than the front patio. Our server was excellent, explaining the different plate sizes and the food preparation. We shared appetizers, which were very good, though the tomatoes were a bit disappointing-not as flavourful as ones... More

We enjoyed Max's Harvest. The menu is varied, with options from small to large plates. Our server happily explained the differences between the small, medium and large plates, so it was very easy to put together a delicious dining experience. We shared the patatas bravas, Providence style calamari (tender squid in a light putanesca sause over brucetta), seared scallops (cooked... More

Had dinner with friends and older teen, excellent overall experience. I had the chicken which was very moist and served with interesting combination of things. Others had fish that tell said was excellent. Save room for desert...the carrot cake was outstanding and very large, thank goodness as we all 5 tried it and could have seconds.

Max's Harvest has a great diversity of flavors and experiences. Loved the great variety and offerings in various sizes. You can travel the world and get a bit of octopus jerk, then burrata, then blistered peppers with lamb and Harissa...a world of taste and flavors. Loved the desserts... Highly recommend the fabulous chocolate dome and key lime dessert....both outrageously delicious... More

I had dinner here and decided to have the medium plate. Tried the house salad with scallops for $21 which seemed pricy for the small portion. The farm direct products appear to be excellent but am not sure they are certified. Would suggest you make reservations the day before and request the deck in the back. It allows privacy with... The first time that I ate at Maxs, it was wonderful, except for the highly recommended goat cheese ball app. The second visit just the opposite. The waitress had an attitude when we forgot her name. My date and I both had horrible meals. No one asked, nor seemed to care. Maybe the chef was not there that early, at... More

Hype, pretentiousness and thinking you’re the cast of “Vanderpump Rules” will only get you so far in the highly competetive restaurant world. Granted, we did not have a brunch reservation, but being a strong supporter of local sourcing and the farm to table movement, we left our home early in the morning and drove for literally 2 plus hours to... My wife and I celebrated her fathers birthday at Max's Harvest yesterday and these are our thoughts. The restaurant was small but had both indoor and outdoor seating. Since there were 11 of us we ate inside. The waiter was cordial but not overly friendly. In fact, my wife had to ask him 3 times for a glass of water.... More

If you want to be seen in one of the newer Delray hotspots, then go right ahead and pay $36 for SKIRT steak. Another pretentious, overpriced menu in Pineapple Grove. Sticking with our tried and true Delray favorites from now on. Oh, and watch the flimsy outdoor seating. We watched a diner fall backwards in his chair when the leg... More

Great food and wine. Farm to table style. Actually had a burger and truffle fries. Ordered a great red wine recommended by the staff. Loved it and would go back!
