The Great: Food and ingredient quality are top-shelf; Very creative menu with something for everyone; Our server was simply outstanding (Meagan) as were everyone else who came to our table to serve dishes or clean-up. The Caveats: It is relatively expensive (but it should be), and it's very, very loud at dinner. One big issue we had was that there's... More

Known among locals for well prepared locally sourced dishes. Was legitimately good but quite pricey ($50pp) that I didn't think quite justified the quality/creativity of the cuisine. Good thing that one the beautiful and trendy we were able to get a table Friday night no issue

We wanted to try Max's and were impressed by the menu. We had hoped to have a nice conversation with friends during dinner( we had an early reservation) but the place was very loud by 7 pm. While the food ( we all had various fish dishes) was very good, the atmosphere and the service were lacking. It was crowded... More

We recently enjoyed a good dinner at Max's. The food was very fresh and good, and there was a nice selection of wines to accompany the food. I agree with a previous reviewer about the deviled eggs, which are an unusual but excellent appetizer. The service was competent and friendly. My main course of chicken was a bit dry but... More

Based on the TripAdvisor reviews, my husband and I decided to try this new farm-to-table restaurant. What a great find! It's located just off Atlantic Ave in the Pineapple Grove area. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating and has a very welcoming ambience. Our entire meal was amazing! For starters, I had the warm kale Caesar and my... More

Have now visited on several occasions over the past 2 years. It is notable that we have never been disappointed. The menu is varied and uses locally grown meats and vegetables. You have to try the meatball appetizer! Last visit we brought friends from New Jersey and had the Short Rib Ravioli as an entree. Wonderful! DO NOT LEAVE until... More

We seek out farm-to-table restaurants whenever possible and are pretty tolerant of dining glitches. Luckily for Max's the food made up for an otherwise disappointing experience. In an area with such a high percentage of retirees, I know that dining is a big social experience. But Max's could have managed patrons better. We had a 7:30 reservation and had to... More

if you are a deviled egg fan you are in luck...the eggs here for an appetizer are the best. Just off the main street in Delray, Max's Harvest offers a good farm to table menu. My favorite is "chicken under a brick", light but with interesting flavors. Nice wine selection and helpful waiters.

Max's Harvest is in the Pineapple Grove section of downtown Delray Beach and it was great - inside and outdoor seating.

We've eaten here before and never been disappointed. The little iron casserole of meatballs and sauce is a must. The meatballs are swimming in a delicious tomato sauce that begs to be mopped up with the accompanying grilled bread. Nice little start with a cocktail. My husband had the special wahoo and I had the small size of scallops and... More
