What an amazing dining experience my family and I had! I'm here in Deland visiting (from miami) my grandparents and this was a wonderful choice my sister from New York recommended.
I'm a pescetarian, and was so pleased to see so many fish and vegetarian items.
Also, the service was amazing and they offered to give my grandmother a better...

Great food, good prices. I enjoyed the Paella very much. They had live music and the restaurant stretched out onto the patio. Both the owner and the chef came to ensure we were happy with our meal. I would definitely recommend it.
After visiting the Stetson Mansion we drove to the main shopping street a few blocks away and happily discovered De La Vega where we were shown to an outside table. We started with an appetizer of cactus which was unusual and delicious. We had great soup, salad and tacos. Everything was attractively presented. Deserts were delicoius
Very helpful waitress. Good food. Nice atmosphere (outdoors on sidewalk). Dined with wife. I had enchiladas, she had tacos. Nice presentation. This was our second meal at this restaurant and we will return.
Wonderful place. Háve visited about a dozen times over past four years. Service is always great. The food fantastic. Not your typical Mexican foodd....these folk care and take pride in their food and service. Downtown DeLand location is refreshing and most enjoyable. If you are within 40 miles of this place make time to enjoy it!
When I was on the way to Deland I knew it was a small florida town and I was hoping not to eat fast food during my visit. I was surprised, great service, we sat outside the weather was wonderful. We tired different Tappas style entree's, fun and fantastic food
Thet had our table ready when we arrived for our reservation. Tapas was very enjoyable, excellent variety. Dinner was wonderful, especially the chicken mole, wow outstanding. The service was also outstanding. Only one suggestion, the menu should include margaretta's, I had to ask if they offered them. Other than that it exceeded our every expectation.
We've been weekly regulars here for the last 3 years. The food is always good. Not your typical Mexican restaurant gourmet food. Cooked by real chefs with authentic recipes. I would have no idea how to cook like they do- and I can cook Mexican. A real treat check it out and you'll be glad you did.
I've eaten here 3 times and it was great each time. The flavors are wonderful, the dishes creative, and they have a pretty good wine selection. The guacamole is excellent, the avocado rellenos are also worth a try. I mostly order the fish entrees and haven't been disappointed yet. The chef has a nice selection for vegans as well. She...
