...Seafood Burrito is the BEST! BarNun! Manny, it' time to spread out and share that plantain soup in other areas of Florida. In my experience, DeLa Vega earns the Oscar for Southwestern cuisine.

We were surprised to find a vegan menu offered at this Latin fusion cafe and even more surprised how excellent it was. We had plantain enchiladas with mole sauce and sangria -- both were excellent. In addition, De La Vega offered a very well appointed dining room and great outdoor seating as well. I wished I had the recipe, because... More

Being local we try to visit here often, but not as much as we would like. We have never had a bad experience or anything less than delicious food. We usually get the house wine, a great malbac and share several tapas. Our favorites are the aspirinas, sirloin boquitas, and the banderrillas. Staff are always friendly and helpful, too. Definitely... More

The reviewer who said "it's not Tex-Mex" was right on target! If that's what you're looking for, you've definitely come to the wrong place. We sat down and were immediately given a "taste" of the wine of the day, an excellent malbec. It was delicious, and I think indicative of the quality of the rest of the wine list. The... More

The portions are a bit small, but the flavor is jam packed in every bite. I love coming here with my husband; it's very romantic and the service is excellent. The wine selection is fantastic.

De La Vega is an interesting restaurant. From the outside, it looks like it would be an upscale, suit-and-tie kinda place that will set you back a $100 for a gourmet meal. Then there are the people walking by that often make perplexed remarks about the exotic-sounding items on the menus sitting on the outdoor tables. So its no surprise... More

Wow, what a find. We stopped here on our way back to Orlando airport before going home to the UK . I had always found Mexican food to be fairly spicy, but always wrapped in a variety of grain based "pancakes". This was very different. My wife and I shared 4 tapas at $5 each. Each tapas portion came with... More

The food is real mexican re-invented and re-imagined. The service is great very attentive but also laid back. Love it. Thank you Chef Nora!

Service was excellent, but I found the food to be bland... I'm sorry... My friends really enjoyed it, but I've had better. Had two dishes involving shrimp, and it was clearly frozen (don't understand why, when the gulf is right there), the mussels in the paella were overdone, and the avocado in the other app we had was not yet...
