We always eat at the Old House whenever we are in Deland. We like to eat outside near the pond. They usually have a We usually go with the special of the day and are never disappointed.

A group of us ladies visited the Old House Cafe for lunch. The menu selection was very good, as was the food. Our server, Sean, was first class. Highly recommended.

Great old house, the food was homemade and wonderful. I enjoyed the trio so I had sandwich, soup and salad. It was a cold raining day so we had hot tea. It all just made you feel yummy inside. Very Good

Crab stuffed portobello & salad was excellent. My husband really enjoyed the tuna sandwich and vegetable beef soup. All very fresh. Great little place for lunch after visiting the Stetson Mansion. Made for a lovely day!

Stopped in with friends for lunch. They were busy and had to wait.lets start by saying worth the wait. Had the French onion soup.. So good and the organic turkey sandwich with cranberry mayo on a homemade roll with homemade potato salad some of the best. And my friend had the pot roast special.. He loved it.

Charming last century home transformed into a cozy lunch restaurant. Best made from scratch soups around and their sandwiches are served on fresh rolls made by the owner. My favorite restaurant in the tri city area and just a couple of blocks south of New York ave. Go, you will see me there!

Everything about Old House was delightful; the ambiance, the excellent service, the surperb quality and freshness of the food and so reasonably priced. A sumptuous feast and relaxing experience. All the treasured traditions of Thanksgiving, but none of the headaches. A Christmas tree beside the fireplace, surrounded by antiques. What a... More

Had an excellent beef stroganoff (specialty of the day) for only $9.63 including FL tax. Entrée included a house salad. Food was good portion and tasted good. The name is exactly what it is. The first floor of the house has been converted into a restaurant. The house was well furnished/modified and provided a different atmosphere from most restaurants. Service... More

Had lunch here on Thursday for the first time and didn't realize what I have been missing. If you blink your eyes you'll miss this little jewel. The restaurant is located in what was once a house and is near downtown Deland (on 1792) about one block from the Aamco Transmission. My pretty and polite server Sasha helped with my... More
