Great Homemade Ice Cream

Another true family business serving the best homemade ice cream they can make. Clean, comfortable place to sit and enjoy. Perfect for families. Excellent ice cream.

Always a great pick with a wide variety of choices. Peppercorn Marscapone, Lemon Sorbet, Goat Cheese and Raw Honey, never a dull experience!

I admit I use tripadvisor a lot now as I look at the reviews to determine if a particular place is worth visiting. So with that said I had to try out Sweet Spot since it was rated #2 of places to eat in DeLand. No regrets! The ice cream is all hand made and delicious!! I sampled 3 flavors... More

Cupcakes were moist and full of flavor! Haven't tried their ice cream but many people I know rave about how delicious it is.

Unlike Carvel and Baskin & Robbins, Sweet Spot is a family owned "Small Town" ice cream shop where the people are friendly and the treats are fantastic. There are a variety of floats, sundaes and splits. You can get your treat in a cone or a cup. Everything at Sweet Spot is built from scratch. The ice cream, hot fudge,... More

The young lady who cashed us out loves turtles - as do I - she complimented my earrings and we were off to a great start! The gentleman who owns the store was there as well- very helpful with our daughter who must avoid dairy and gluten. We ordered Choc covered pretzels - dark choc champagne truffles and ice cream-... Came here with my family! I got the cookies and cream which was the best I've ever had anywhere! I tried what everyone else got and everything was delicious! All homemade and just so good!!! Cute little place and very reasonably priced!

After dining at the Greek restaurant, we usually pop over here for a naughty dessert. By that I mean two scoops instead of one. Our dieticians might not approve, but our taste buds do. They always have the most interesting flavors with clever names. A fun place.

What a wonderful surprise when we discovered the Sweet Spot and the delightful owners, Jimmy and Melissa. The ice cream is homemade every day, as is the hot fudge and hot caramel sauce. When they make their fabulous salted toffee chocolate ice cream, even the toffee is made from scratch. Oh, it's just sooo dense and delicious!. Oh, and there... More

Excellent hand made ice cream. Always great every time. Lots of interesting flavors. This place is off main street so you might miss it.........DON'T! If you love ice cream find this place.
