Had breakfast for dinner here. Excellent service, delicious food despite the fact the exterior isn't too inviting! Looks can be deceiving, you know! Will definitely return :)

From the outside it does not look like much....could use a paint job and new signage.....but you are going to eat and eat you will....the food is good home cooking...I had the turkey dinner and it was fresh turkey, stuffing, potatoes etc....delicious and moderately priced...my brother ordered the turkey club which came with a hearty helping of fries and he was... We have been going here for years. Used to be called George's. Maybe it's because my Dad and Brother were George, but this place uses all 100% good food. No preservatives, everything made from scratch. The soups are excellent!! I go on Thursday for the split pea. Try the Chicken Soup Avgolemono on Sunday!!!! Roy is the host and has... More

We have been patrons of Marlee's (formerly George's) restaurant/diner for over 20 years. The place is family owned and the employees all know us and we know them. It's nice to see the kids of some of the waitresses now working there, continuing the family tradition. They care enough to remember how you like your coffee, what kind of juice... More

Diner with little atmosphere. Had a mildew odor. Gave a full dinner for little cost. Not recommended.

The first Friday of every month is Greek night at Marlee's Diner & Bakery, where a large selection of generous portions of Greek House Specialties are offered. You'd be pleased with any of the selections; from the sampler appetizer of home made Greek meatballs, hummus, tzatziki sauce and pita bread to the freshly made traditional Greek dishes, including spanakopita (spinach... I ordered a cup of cheesy potato soup, and an open-face pot roast sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy and a Coke with a lemon wedge for lunch. Asked the waitress if there were mushrooms in the soup as I am very allergic to them. She said no. About 5 minutes later she brought me a cup of mushroom soup.... More

Dear Randi, We're sorry for the misunderstanding with your order; we truly make it a priority to provide our patrons attentive service. After reading your review, it pained us to know that after 40 positive visits to my family's restaurant, you didn't give us the opportunity to rectify the situation while you were in the diner. Instead you found it... More

Breakfast is my favorite meal here. The sausage links are made locally and are delish! I love the soups there. Split Pea is on Thursdays! The staff is friendly and the service is fast. Once you go in there, you feel like you're home. Good food, good people, great prices....What's more to say?

My wife and I stopped in here to have a late breakfast. The French Toast is impressive. The price is fair as well. I had scrambled eggs on the side and they were also good. My wife got a chicken ke-bob dish which was also very good. Portions are of a good size and the chicken lemon soup is outstanding.... More

Absolutely the WORST diner I have ever been to. Took my family for breakfast, waitress messed up my girlfriends order. When they brought the wrong food the waitress actually said, "I didn't hear what you ordered so I just assumed it was this." And when the food did come we had no silverware. We had to ask twice for more... More

We're so very sorry to hear your experience at Marlee's Diner was a negative one. Our family prides itself in providing the freshest quality food, made in house with friendly service. Unfortunately when the Diner is at its busiest, it can be loud and misunderstandings occur. If you're ever in Deerfield Beach again please consider returning to my family's diner... More
