The food is fresh. The ambiance is ZERO. Awful. We ordered the mussels appetizer which came seasoned nicely (cold dish) and was very good. Peruvian ceviche was very average. Bland. Lots of onions and not enough marinating on the fish. Lomo Saltdado was ok. Cooked nicely and dish was plentiful but was missing the wow. Arroz con Pollo was eaten... More

My husband and I ate Los Andes last night for the 1st time and it was fabulous! The food was delicious and large portions. We ordered the Empanada appetizer for 2 and the Parrillada entree and still had food left over! The restaurant was immaculatly clean and the service was great. Will definatelly return. 2 locals

Mr or Mrs, it's very unfortunate from your part that you HAD to bad mouth Los Andes Restaurant, talking about portions being "too small" we can't barely finish our main entrees. You talk about $5 "imported" beers which are very reasonable for the location of the restaurant, The Cove Plaza, there is also domestic beers at $3.25. And lastly you... More

We have given this restaurant several tries because we love Ecuadorian food. However, it has never met our expectations. Do not eat here if you appreciate big portions. Their portions are very small for authentic Ecuadorian food. The atmosphere is nice and location is convenient; but those are the only reasons we keep going back. Beers are $5 ridiculous! 100%... I work in the business and am highly critical. EVERYTHING was fresh and excellent. Owner present insures consistency. It is worth a trip and I would go out of my way to dine here. It is a family run AUTHENTIC high quality small business that wont be here if we do support it and we foodies would miss it. GO!!!

My wife and I have eaten here a number of times now and each time we are impressed with rhe quality and the price of the food. On our last visit Cesar, the owner, served us with Choritos a la Chalaca. This appetizer , muscles smothered in a ceviche like topping is absolutely delicious. We followed up with hornado, roasted... Nice simple restaurant with nice decor, and music. Had the shrimp ceviche and it was very tasty; rice with lentis menestra and steak. Also had the hornado. The pork was juicy with great flavor and the juice/sauce was very light and complimented the dish instead of overpowering it. Coronas are $5 which is a bit pricey for this restaurant but... More

What a wonderful hidden gem. Flavorful, refreshing, tasty. Ceviche was best I've ever had. Empanadas are rich. Soups are great. Salads are different from those we normally find in restaurants and very good. Try the cold Peruvian drinks. I wish I was staying in the area longer to go back and try more. Great for friends, family, or break from... More

Incredible food , amazing service by the owner himself , great prices considering the huge size of the portions. Definitely will go back. Had the mixed grill platter, a carnivore's dream dinner!

This small local restaurant is tucked away in a shopping center. It is unpretentious and has only a few tables, but the food is fresh and delicious! Typically Peruvian cerviche was fabulous! The portions were large and the staff friendly and helpful in ordering. Looking for an adventure? Try this hidden gem.
