What a blast

This was a great decision!!! You order your choice of pancake ... the batter is brought to you in a picture ... the middle of your table is a griddle!!!! You cook your own and as many as you can eat! Only warning ... careful in ordering sides and additional ingredients ... they are not all that... read more

Could not believe that I was served stale moldy bread in a place that was bragging about the freshness and quality,,, I truly hope this is not the norm.,,It is very interesting place. Was also surprised that it didn't have a solid front door,, just a screen door,,we were seated in the center, and you could see your breath,,waitresses wearing... More

We decided to eat at the Old Spanish Sugar Mill while visiting De Leon Springs. There are griddles built into the tables. You cook some of your food yourself on the griddle. I ordered the all you can eat pancakes, knowing that I could not eat that many. Two pitchers of batter were brought to me, whole grain and plain.... More

This was mine and my friends first visit both to the park and the restaurant. There is a six dollar entrance fee to the park and a wait time for the restaurant is posted at the entrance ( 2 hours on a Sunday morning). Go inside the restaurant to the counter and put your name on the wait list. They... More

We go here every year to kayak, and after we're finished paddling, go to the Mill to make our own pancakes right on the grill on each table. We order them with pecans, but you can have blueberries, bacon, and more - or, make your own eggs, too, on the grill. It's a fun experience, but the place is usually... More

We had been here several times before with friends. This time the weather was bad (raining) and there was no wait, which is VERY unusual as this place is always packed. We had sides of ham and sausage which they cook for you, and of course you prepare your own pancakes. Our waiter was kind of jammed up between several... More

We visited the Mill for a late breakfast today, this was probably my twelfth visit. Even though there was a wait (1.5hours!) the time went fast since there was so much to do! Service was wonderful, as usual, and we indulged once again in pancakes with most of the toppings. They used to have two types of honey on the... More

There were six of us there for breakfast. We all enjoyed the pancakes. I really liked that they brought out whole wheat pancake mix also. The boys enjoyed putting chocolate chips in theirs. We also had ham which was delicious and eggs. It is located in a beautiful state park. We enjoyed it and will go back if we have... More

Family style service, country ambience. The restaurant is situated near the water. The service was top quality. They have a special on pancakes which you make yourself on the grill provided at each table. A very unique dining experience indeed.

This was our second visit. It is a beautiful location and is an oasis of peace after the hustle and bustle of Disney. It takes an hour and a quarter to drive from Orlando, but is well worth it. A car costs $6 to enter the nature reserve, which provides nature trails, boating, swimming in the the thermal spring and... More
