Unique

This restaurant is in DeLeion Springs park, which by itself is wonderful. Add this unique experience while you are there! Great service, wonderful concept of fixing your own breakfast at your table. Scrumptous pancake batter, fresh fruits and nuts, homemade bread! Could go on and on. Just go!

A fun place to make pancakes at a table top grill. Choose a variety of batters and pour and cook your own pancakes. Variety of toppings and syrups make this one of the best places to go for a breakfast in a unique State Park setting. Sides of bacon, ham and more can be added at a reasonable price. Expect... More

The Old Spanish Sugar Mill Restaurant is a must to visit. Upon entering the DeLeon Springs park, go immediately to the restaurant to make a reservation before exploring the grounds & museum. Weather permitting, bring your swim suit for the springs pool. The restaurant is very cool. Every table has a hot plate in it and you are brought two... More

I live locally, but love to visit the Sugar Mill when family is in town! The Springs are beautiful in the morning and you can walk around the park while waiting for a seat. At times, the wait is an hour, but it's peaceful to walk around. At the mill you get to cook your own pancakes on a grill... More

My wife and I had breakfast at the Old Spanish Sugar Mill. Embedded in each table is a griddle, where you can cook your own pancakes and eggs. Two types of pancake batter are brought to your table along with about 4 types of syrup. You can order strawberries, blueberries, pecans, bananas and a variety of other "ingredients" to spice... Very interesting place! You cook-your-own right at your table. All-you-can-eat pancakes (I recommend the wheat!) cooked by you at your table and a built-in HOT griddle. You cook your own eggs also! Met served as a side. Very good food and great service. We had to wait over an hour to get in! but worth it. We also took the... More

We've never been to place like this before. You get to make your own pancakes (all you can eat) right at your table with a variety of things such as blueberries, bananas, peanut butter and chocolate chips. There is a pancake grill built right into the table. Very low key but a ton of fun and great experience. There was... More

Visited with friends it was a nice experience, the wait was a bit much..the gate said 30 minutes but we were told an hour and 30 min. at the restaurant. It was easy to pass the time, we checked out the park since it was our first time there. I'm not a huge pancake fan, and the menu is limited,... More

Arrive early or wait in line but you are waiting by the spring which is nice. Great ambiance and really delicious food that you cook yourself on a griddle built into your table. Then go take a hike in the park or swim in the springs to burn off the calories! It's a win-win!

You want a fun experience and good meal. They told us we would have an hour and half wait, but we only waited 30 minutes. The place is not very big. You sit at a table with a griddle in the middle. You actually cook your own pancakes. They bring you the batter all set to pour. You get two... More
