The fish and chips are great! Good flavor - not greasy. The fish dip appetizer w/ crackers is excellent! We visit this place every year. Great sweat tea too!

We pulled it up on the internet while driving and the reviews matched the experience. Staff was very welcoming and many locals come and go. We had blackened basa (sp?} and it was good. Everything was fresh and of course they had to ask...."sweet or unsweet". Great lunch place!

Found Bay St Seafood on TripAdviser, and yes the first impression is a bit concerning. However, my blackened scallops, onion rings and cucumber salad were exceptionally good. It's not fancy, so if you're looking for atmosphere, you might be disappointed.

Bay Street Seafood has great seafood at really good prices. We visit Daytona Beach often and make it a point to stop at Bay Street at least once a visit. My husband orders the fried shrimp (specially priced on Tuesdays) and I get the scallops (fried or broiled). This is a small, quaint and homey place not filled with tourists.... More

Read about this on Trip Advisor (of course) and went for lunch. It doesn't look like much is small and simple but i love the local ambiance. The grill or fry to order which takes a while so must be patient. Owner very friendly and the food was excellent. We all had fried seafood.

After seeing all the great reviews my boyfriend and I decided to try it out. When we got there we almost turned away because it looked like a dump. But I was blown away with how great my meal was. I had the crab cake sandwich with homemade onion rings and it was delicious and very very filling. It is... More

Always our first meal when we come in to town. Great seafood at a really good price. Mom and pop's type place. Certainly not fancy but awesome food.

It took a while for our food to be served but that's because it was made to order and piping hot. Yum! The onion rings were delicious.

After seeing such favorable reviews on Trip Advisor, we decided to try it out. After being told to have a seat and they would take our order, the server came over and said, "My manager said we are closed.". Granted, it was 7:55 and the sign on the door said they are open till 8 pm. I guess they are... More
