Great fish and clam chowder!

We had the clam chowder, fish and chips, and a hot dog. My little one loved the oversized dog and toasted bun. The clam chowder tasted homemade and was delicious! The fish and chips were served piping hot! The batter was light, the fish was not greasy, and they gave a perfect serving. They The... read more

We ate here for lunch while in Daytona Beach. It is a hole in the wall but the seafood was delicious. It was all fried but good. The shrimp were butterflied and cooked to perfection and we're not greasy. Fish and chips were delicious.

This little diner definitely Lives up to the buzz it creates on TA reviews! We were a party of 2 and ordered the infamous homemade onion rings for a starter. Be warned, the portion size is large enough to serve 4-6. For my main course, I had the Gulf fried shrimp and my date had the seafood platter. My shrimp... More

We were looking to add a new restaurant to our Daytona rotation. After checking with TA we decided on BSSM&D. It was a good choice. Three of us ordered the fried shrimp. The 2 younger kids ordered a hot dog and a hamburger, respectively, as they are not seafood guys. Middle son also ordered a bowl of their clam chowder... More

Wow. The reviewers got this one right. A tiny hole in the wall, but friendly and fantastic food. I had the fried shrimp special. Huge and fresh shrimp done simple and correctly. Simple and sweet. And at a fair price! Only suggestion is to ask customers what type of condiments they prefer. Busy place, but, worth the wait.

Eat here several times each year we visit Daytona. Never had a bad meal or poor service. The smoked fish dip is excellent. Our fried shrimp was great - hot and not greasy at all. I have trouble reconciling some of the less than complementary reviews with my experiences - makes one wonder about the basis for these "bitter-sounding" reports.... More

I went twice to this place and liked it both times. I recommend the Blackened Reuben and the blackened salmon club sandwich. The onion rings are home made a yummy. The other sides are a rather small portion. We also had the hamburger and it was also delicious.

Well we went there based on the reviews and I am not sure I would ever go there again. Got the standard fish and chips..fish strips awful fries were good. Will not go back...nor do I recommend. If you want good fish pay the price and go to Hull's which we did..
