Rerally Good Place that needs a total makeover

What makes this place famous is their Three Bean Salad. If you go for dinner, you get it for free with a quarter Cornish hen. I went for lunch so I bought a to go 1/2 pound for $2.50. Their food is home made, their meat sauce is fresh and the salad is presented really nicely. Jody is very... read more

This place has been around forever so maybe not fair of me to leave a review after a 1st visit but we tried several things and the only thing we actually liked was the bread. If I do return, I would try the pizza instead of other dinner entrees but my wife is Italian and was born and raised in... More

Nice friendly staff / servers. The interior is very outdated and tired looking. A padded table top ... and dusty bottles. Not sure what the front door concrete barrier is for ... makes for a very akward entrance !! Asked for eggplant parm with marinara sauce instead of meat sauce as menu states.... never seen a meat sauce on melenzanna... More

Great southern italian food, sit down relax. 3 bean salad and cornish game hen to start. Carrafes of wine, great freindly service. This is not the over priced places out there, this is a full course tasty meal at a value. Enjoy

Instead of eating at the Hard Rock Casino prior to our YES concert, we found this small family owned restaurant. Our waitress was very friendly and the service was top notch. They started us off with fresh hot bread along with a green bean salad that was fantastic!! We ordered both Chicken & Veal Parmigianino which came with pasta. But... More

May not look like much at first but sit and enjoy the ability to talk and actually hear. The servers welcome you promptly and just gets better from there. The appetizers are very good and main courses are a good size and the food is very good. Overall a good dining experience not too badly priced. We will continue to... More

We went out as family for my wife's birthday and she requested italian food. We had been by this restraurant many times in passing by on 441. We decided to give it at try. The interior is nothing fancy at all and the chairs and booths are aged. But this just gave the place its own character. The menu is... More

Had a chance to go back to the restaurant and it was as good as I remember. Use to go to this restaurant 25+ year ago when we lived in the area. Food just as great as I remember, much of the staff still there and of course it was great to see the owner again. Will be back there... More

Went here for a dinner with old friends. It has been 20+ years since we last ate here. Same owner, most of the same wait staff. The interior is in dire need of a facelift. The staff was fine, but ready to go home. The food........fair to bad. We all got the app, which is a quartered Cornish hen, then... More

My 9 year old son only eats chicken Francese at Italian restaurants. When we received my sons order, it looked funny and didn't taste anything like Francese, it had no taste and way too thick of a sauce with too much flour. My sister had snapper Francese and the sauce was a Francese sauce. When we complained they seemed defensive... More
