Don't leave without ordering the pastries to bring home!

My husband's favorite breakfast place. Too bad we live at least half hour away so we couldnt go as often as we'd like. Friendly service, food is as expected in a longlasting diner. You wouldnt expect any less.

Went to Grampa's for breakfast due to the restaurant being on Diners Drive In and Dives. Line up was long but we were seated within 15 minutes. Service was ok but not great.... Refills for tea and coffee took way too long. It also really bugs me when I order a cup of tea and get a mug of hot... More

Dinner was stuffed cabbage. Quite good. Key lime pie also good. Waiter was very attentive. Food was hot. Reasonable prices and several specials offered.

My wife and I came in fairly late in the evening. Our server immediately came to our table, taking our drink order and leaving a basket of fresh dinner rolls and sweet rolls, which were absolutely delicious! He did a great job with selling the specials and knew the menu items very well. I had the Blackened Chicken. It was... More

Oh my gosh...what wonder home cooking. The serving portions where so huge that I had to take more than 1/2 back to the resort with me. Our server was a wonderful person, who was very kind and took a moment out of here very busy day to actually talk to us and give us some very helpful hints of the... More

Tuesday, January 6th, Ronnie Grampa, the owner of "Grampa"s " Bakery and restaurant, passed away, from a battle with Cancer. His family, friends, and loyal customers will miss him greatly. Saw it on DDD, flew into Ft Lauderdale airport and decided to go experience it for myself. Place is old, sat in the bar. The waiter was beyond attentive. I went for my favorite, open face turkey. Amazing! The turkey home baked was juicy, but it also had skillet marks. The corn was normal but the mash potato was clearly... More

Looks like a diner inside. Food portions are proportionate to the price. Food is good especially the free plate if danishs. I have been there many times. Usually for breakfast, this time was for dinner I tried the hamburgers and their homemade fresh patty it was very good. We will be going back again
