Good food, good service

Grampa's is a very well run restaurant in Dania Beach. The food is good, portions generous and good value for the money. The servers are pleasant (a definite plus in these times!) and the manager, Tommy, friendly and very personable. Sticky buns and ruggaleh great!

I must have been here on an off day, as the service was bad and the food subpar. Got wind that this was a local hot-spot, especially since Guy F. had one of his DDD shows here. It was busy, and seemed to be packed with locals, so maybe I'll just order what they order next time. I don't post... More

Great bakery, home-style cooking, everything made fresh. Can't wait to return! We had both dinner and breakfast the next day. Meals are served with fresh and wonderful danish.

My husband and I took our grandson to grampy's today for breakfast. We are in Fort Lauderdale for the night on our way back to our home in Canada. The food was fantastic, the service was great! We met a nice older couple and had a great visit. However when I paid the bill, there was an older lady behind... More

Since we were only given the lunch menu we ordered the open turkey breast sandwich platter. We were not served turkey breast but got terrible sliced deli meat turkey that was old and salted, stale stringbeans and lumpy mashed potatoes...$39.00 for 2 with 1 soda and 1 iced tea. We have long been frequent customers of Grampas, but it has... More

If you have read my reviews, you will see that I very rarely hit a restaurant. I have to say, this was a total miss. I understand busy and waiting but it took 45 minutes to get our order. That would not be so bad, but while waiting for our food, we were asked to move tables to accommodate a... More

If you're a breakfast person this is the place. Started off with fresh danishes... OH my were they tasty. Hearty size portions at reasonable prices. Excellent attentive staff working as a team. Super busy both times we visited and for good reason... it's a must see.

I've been to Grandpa's several times over the years and I'm still trying to find what the great attraction is. There has never been anything really wrong to complain about, but it's no better or worse than any other mom and pop type restaurant. The food is good, but nothing to write home about. The service has usually been acceptable,... More

We had to wait about 10 minutes but it was worth it. It was Sunday so some people were still having Breakfast and they brought everyone some wonderful cinnamon bread. I had a very good hamburger and my husband had a Pastrami sandwich. Everyone was friendly. We ate lunch there the next day and I had a really good chicken... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident and then realized it had been on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. We were quite excited to be there. It took us 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged we were there. And then another 45 minutes to get our lunch. We didn't order anything fancy or time-consuming. An egg salad sandwich, BLT and a... More
