Service was good, food was average...we went for breakfast and preferred Mama Sallys and Luigis (in Homassass) atmosphere, menu and food to Grannies. more

The one and only time we went-- we didn't like it. Vegetables came from a can. I know most reviewers rave about breakfast, which we didn't eat, we had lunch. The food was nothing I'd rave about. The atmosphere alone turned us off. It really needs major updating...very run down. So small in the back room, you have to get... more

I wanted to contribute some reviews for the Crystal River, Fl area, since I had a hard time myself finding information on food and lodging in the Crystal River area. There are not a lot of options - many of them are chain franchises, but after visiting I discovered the local and mostly "undocumented" restaurants area great, especially for breakfast.... more

My group had breakfast at Grannie's on a recent trip to Crystal River and loved our food. It was a great example of Southern home-cooked food. I came in with a group of eight, and they didn't even hesitate at seating us all together, even though it was a busy Sunday morning. I think we pretty much all ordered something... more

A first class dinner in a place devoid of eating options. We had breakfast at Grannie's prior to going on a manatee tour with Fun 2 Dive. During a Little League State Tournament in Crystal River, Florida. We stumbled upon Grannie's reataurant on US-19. Wonderful breakfast and other homecooked meals. The staff are great, very welcoming, just like going to your own Grannie's!! more
