Definitely an " old Florida" experience. Lots of charm in this quaint old bayside house that sits beneath moss draped trees. Lots of locals hang out here. House specialties are mainly seafood. The iceberg salad is served family style and is very popular. Food is average, and overpriced.... But the ambiance is worth at least one trip off the beaten... More

Drive is long from most areas (Crawfordville and Tallahassee). We have ate there several times and food is just average nothing to get excited about. Prices are a little to spendy in this area. Quaint small place, but so far nothing for us to get excited about.

For really fresh seafood in a charming atmosphere, visit Spring Creek Restaurant. The salad is wonderful and the seafood is great. The pricing is a bit high but the quality makes it worth the price. The owner has written a couple of books on the local life and the art and deco in the restaurant are great. Make it a... More

I coordinated a ride to eat for my motorcycle group but was unable to attend so I can't comment first hand for this review. I did get a lot of negative comments from those that were there, not on the food but the pricing. Lunch for two at $48 with tip and charged full price for drink refills, no sides... More

I have a group of friends who ride to a different restaurant every Saturday. Yesterday we rode approximately 200 miles to get to Spring Creek. We arrived and I was thrilled with the setting and the appearance and the atmosphere. We were seated by friendly folks and welcomed like we were old friends. The menus were placed on the table... We have been visiting Spring Creek Restaurant whenever we are lucky enough to get to the area to see our awesome friends, who live in the area. I would imagine, these visits started soon after they opened,,, We have always had amazing meals, service, and ambiance. It is a must on our stops while we are in the area. My... More

Want LOCAL fresh seafood? You got it here from local fisherman! We were invited to join friends here for dinner last weekend. It was our first experience at this long time family owned restaurant. As we arrived at this little woodsy rustic ranch style building, we felt a sense of genuine Old Florida charm. After being seated we noted the... More

I've been traveling to Wakulla Springs State Park since the early 1970's. One of our favorite restaurants in the area, which we always visit, is the Spring Creek Restaurant in Crawfordville. The seafood is always fresh, the salads always crisp and cold, and the service is warm and friendly. My husband has been visiting even longer than I and he... More
