Here you have the best of both worlds. You can have them cook the fresh catch or you can buy it to go. The restaurant serves fresh seafood as well as drinks. The fish market sells fresh fish and they are open all year round seven days a week. Don't go on Mondays to the restaurant cause they are closed... More

I get greek salad and lemon orzo soup almost every time I go. Love their spaghetti also for lunch special. Like lex and her father very much. Just old style diner with great greek choices and low key. Not pretentious at all. The rich and poor all go. Really like it. It is what it is.

Love going there for breakfast, even for lunch. The problem is that it is so popular, you may have to wait outside to wait on a table. You can forget it during the "season", the snowbirds flock to this place so you got a even longer wait. Best time to get there is very early or after 10:30.

I was on Anna Maria with eight friends. We went here looking for fresh fish, and we were not dissappointed. I had blackened grouper, shrimp and scallops, and they were outstanding. Nice selection of too. Everyone in my group was equally happy with their meals. Our waitress was great as well.

Wholesome, good priced, honest food. Excellent service We go every year from the UK just for the grouper sandwich and the shrimp. Fri, sat and Sunday are live music too. Even more happy days on the dock

We had driven by Cortez Kitchen on an earlier visit to Longboat Key and decided the next time we were there we would try it. We went on a Tuesday evening. The menu is limited, it's not the best value for your money, and there are predominately fried foods on the menu. I had the fried oysters, which were good... More

We heard about the Cortez kitchen from people who live around Bradenton beach area. We called into the restaurant on 4th.September for lunch. We were not disappointed, my wife and daughter had the burgers which were delicious, I was a bit more adventurous, I picked on the alligator tail as I have never tried them before (not many alligators in... It's must go if you are in the area! Full of locals, great clams and mussels, good service and reasonable prices. It is a little rough and rustic to say the least. A must go, without attitude!!!!

Love the atmosphere of this bar. Food is decent and service good, but the music keeps bringing me back. Sunday afternoons are my favorite time to kick back, enjoy some drinks and seafood, and rock to some great music.

We live in Bradenton. We have visited MANY of the local seafood places. Cortez Kitchen has hands down the BEST and FRESHEST seafood around. The buffalo grouper, calamari, ahi tuna, grouper sandwiches (and burgers for the landlubbers)... all to die for. The atmosphere is definitely different. Lots of locals - fun friendly people from a fishing village. It can get... More
