Great Food

Food was great. Ambiance was nice and cozy. A bit pricey! Overall, a great place for a date or night out.

Pleasant dining atmosphere, great service, fantastic food! I'm not a beer drinker but they brew all thier own in house and my boyfriend tells me its "good stuff"! Just for the eats alone I would gladly become a repeat customer. I recommend the cod fish! It was awesome :)

Had the Blueberry ale(so-so) and the dark stout-very good. Appetizers were the mussels & spinach dip. Mains were the bacon burger, prime rib, raw tuna and ribs. Service was good and food was excellent.

We found Big Bear on tripadvisor, with excellent recommendations. None of our party were drinkers, so the name threw us off. Fortunately this is not a sports-bar, but along the lines (in my opinion) of a Houston's or J Alexanders. The environment is comfortable and high-end casual with seating inside or out. Location was convenient to the Coral Springs Art... More

I sat at the bar with a buddy, and we had pizza, shots or tequila, and the bar staff are fun and friendly. The pizza was a sausage and mushroom and it was excellent. Also try the Pretzel chicken. They have a great menu, craft beers, a good bar appetizer menu and good value for happy hour. Ask for Kimberly... More

My son and I went in for a late lunch early dinner. We ate out in the patio and had a fantastic server. I wish I could remember his name(I think Parker) anyway the food was awesome, my son wanted a rare Pittsburgh style (charred) NY Strip. It's rare to find a place that can do that. They did it... We are big fans of Big Bear Brewing Company. It is the cities first local micro brewery and not a chain restaurant. The food, american fare, is always, always good. We have never been disappointed. The bar is well stocked and their beers are award winning. The atmosphere is warm with dark woods and gas lanterns throughout the restaurant. Tables... More

Had a quick dinner here at the bar and overall was really impressed. Their Hibernation American IPA was quite good, and tastes similar to Sierra Nevada. I sat at the bar because I was by myself and the restaurant was slammed (on a Wednesday night). I had the Pretzel Bread app which was killer. I'm a sucker for pretzels and... More

Very cool atmosphere at a pretty cool place. The staff was friendly but I think our server may have been new. The food was all good, not great. Nice size portions, nobody walked away hungry.
