Great Place - One place, not part of any chains

Ask for Amanda! Great considerate service. If you have not had their Bistro Burger go get one. OMG brie cheese, balsamic onions, old smokehouse applewood bacon, garlic mustard mayo of a lovely bun. So good but I can never finish it. My friend prefers their Black and Blue Burger. They cook it any... read more

My husband and I are OBSESSED with Big Bear! I love the seasonal blueberry beer and the fountain of youth martini! YOU MUST try the beer cheese soup (but split it with others, its heavy) and the pretzel crusted chicken!

Everytime we go we order their Beer Cheese Soup. It is excellent! It is enough for two, or one if you're really hungry! You can also get the Soup & Salad combo and go with the Baby Greens with Vanilla Vinaigrette. Flavorwise absolutely amazing! Only negative items we have had in the past was a burger and a steak. The... More

Not worth the trip. Bad service food okay not worth the money. Beer okay. Wont go again. Waited 15 mins for a beer and I was the only one there. Server was awful, never checked up until she wanted her tip. Save your money and time, go somewhere else.

Stopped by yesterday and tried the trout. Excellent flavor, and beautiful presentation! Decided to try the mussels, in wine and creme sauce today. Outstanding! The bread is excellent for dipping into the creme sauce. Now its my pleasure to review the service: Ryan our waiter has got the best personality, and superior service skills. My wife and I enjoyed his... More

I spent several hours trying to find a place with the food my wife likes for a special occasion. I settled on Big Bear because on the internet their menu highlights steak with baked potato. However, when we were seat and I pointed to the menu item that we had come to eat. The waitress flipped the menu's page and... More

We went for lunch on a weekday and, although the restaurant was busy, we were seated right away. The decor is clubby, lots of wood and warm lighting. The menu features a good selection of salads, sandwiches, and entrees. There is an extensive beer menu and you can see the beer making equipment in the restaurant. We tasted some interesting, good... This is one of the best restaurants in the area. The food, drinks, and service are always very good to excellent. They have a nice brunch menu on Sundays. The specials are very good. We are always happy with our meals. They only serve their own beer. I get wine and the selection is good. They also have a nice... More

The beer cheese soup is amazing and served an a Italian bread bowl. I loved it. We had pizza and it was good the pizza is a thin crusted style pizza. The selection of hand crafted beer is quite good. My husband has the beer flight which is 8 5 oz beers for 10.00 a great value. They make there... More
