One of the few remaining Miami locales offering traditional English afternoon tea, the Biltmore is arguably the most elegant venue, with its soaring vaulted ceiling, magnificent lobby and majestically mantled fireplace. The refreshing repast is served daily and is complemented with and elegant harp weekdays and music of an accomplished classical guitarist on the weekends. During the holiday season guests can expect themed pastries.Reservations are recommended.

Gorgeous setting with excellent food

My wife, Daughter, Niece, and I ate dinner at the Fontana restaurant on June 10th. We sat outside in the courtyard surrounded by plants and loved it. We had the choice of three cold cuts for an appetizer: Prosciutto, Wild Boar Salami, and the salami soppressatta. All three were excellent with... read more

We have eaten here several times. It is a beautiful romantic setting at the Biltmore. We had small plates. The angel hair (half order) was more than enough, but it was too heavy handed in a bland tomato sauce. A Caesar salad was ok, but could not taste any garlic or anchovy so I bit bland as well. Finally, there... More

Breakfast buffet was great, many choices and they were happy to serve what was missing. Dinner selections were many and creatively prepared

Lovely, surrounding a fountain, in open air or inside. Very good and well prepared Italian food. Worth it money.

After a wonderful and luxurious night at the Biltmore hotel we decided to stay there for breakfast. So we dined at the Fontana, Saturday morning at 9:30. The server staff appeared rushed and cold. We even overheard an argument between two of them. There was a buffet with various small stations. Not wanting to get up and serve ourselves at... More

The menu and service are very enjoyable. I have dined here for both lunch and dinner on many occasions. The setting gives me the impression of being in 'Old World Cuba' for another tropical setting. I have yet to be disappointed during any of my frequent visits.

Not entirely sure I should be reviewing this restaurant and not Palme d'Or for Sunday Brunch at the Biltmore, as it was spread between the two restaurants, but considering I checked in at the hostess stand on the Fontana side, I'll stick with that. First up, this is not a cheap brunch, at $85 a head + tax and gratiuty... More

We stayed three nights at The Biltmore Hotel in May 2015 (see separate review), and had dinner at Fontana on the first evening. We sat in the courtyard, and were lavished with pleasant service. The staff could not have been more attentive (in an inconspicuous manner). We loved the food - we split a Caesar salad starter, which was enough... More

A lovely spot to eat in but the food while abundant was disappointing . The portions were all huge but everyone's dishes were bland, not well seasoned and not very interesting nor appealing. It is a shame as the outdoor terrace is charming but the food is not.

The atmosphere is great and the service is very good but expect to spend $150 per couple total. The biggest problem that we had here was that my wife’s lasagna was burnt. Neither the kitchen staff nor the wait staff should have served that food. Even if the food wasn’t burnt, it probably would have been average anyway. We stayed... More
