Wonderful Menu, Fantastic Meal

This is one of those restaurants that I relish getting to eat at. It's pricey. If it weren't for a nice Miami per diem for my business trip I probably would never eat a place like this. The menu is fabulous. I had apoplexy trying to choose what to eat. It's a creative and varied with its... read more

My wife and I were in Coral Gables and we came here for lunch. We sat outside and had a great time. We were right next to the fountain The service was great. Attentive but not overbearing There were business people, hotel guests and even a birthday party. The food was delicious and it was well presented

While the setting for the Biltmore Brunch remains as lovely as ever, the food is a thorough disappointment. Having first had the Sunday brunch about 10 years ago when the quality was genuinely very good, I'm sad to say that the hotel is trading on their reputation and not buying good quality food. Everything looks very impressive, is beautifully laid... More

We went for lunch on a weekday and tried the exec lunch. The ambience, lush courtyard setting, portions, food (I'll add local + organic), drinks(sangria comes with it + I had a mojito - both very good) all add up to a perfect afternoon spent with family in a courtyard that sends you back in time. Quintessentially South Floridian elegance!... More

Months before our trip to Coral Gables I made a Tea reservation at the Biltmore Hotel, which goes through the Fontana restaurant there. I Made the reservation for December 27 and received an email shortly before we left for vacation saying that they were looking forward to seeing us on December 17. When I called I was told that the... More

Situated in a fine neighbourhood is the historic Biltmore Hotel, inside you will find a French and Italian restaurants. We only managed to get a table for dinner at Fontana. Not to say it's inferior, Fontana offered great dishes and service. I had the seafood spaghetti special of the night and my wife had the octopus. The pasta was al... More

Went for a special Italian dinner with a friend. The courtyard was so beautiful, romantic, special. The food was authentic. Pricey, but you get what you pay for in ambiance. This is a place I could imagine proposals for marriage, a very special date, or just because you can afford this kind of treatment.

I leave near the Biltmore Hotel and just being there is an experience. The Fontana reflects the Hotel's flair, a Mediterranean ambience with great class. Seating outside at the courtyard around the fountain takes you to a little Vila somewhere in Spain or Italy and you can really enjoy the beautiful Hotel's architecture. My husband and I go there often... More

My husband and I had dinner here, with high expectations, since it was highly recommended by some friends. We weren't disappointed. It was a drizzly humid evening but we were happy to be able to have a table outside near the fountain, in spite of what the humidity did to my hair. :) The service at the restaurant was wonderful.... This is an Italian restaurant in a nice courtyard, excellent for outdoor dining. The menu has a wide selection of Italian specialties. We liked Minestrone Soup, Fritto Misto, Scaloppine di Vitello and the Costata. The service was very friendly, but not very professional. Unfortunately, the water fountain was under repair, but it was still a pleasant evening.
