Stopped in my first day in town for a snack, order the potato soup and wings, the soup was so-so, more like a mashed potato soup, not what I expected. The wings were pretty good though. We stopped in a couple days later (work colleagues) for dinner. The food was good, nice selection of appetizers, we had crab cakes, escargot... More

Our visit was 2 couples going out for dinner, drinks and socializing on a night without the kids. I had the mussels to start with bread. They were better than I expected! The sauce was awesome with bread. As a main course I had the flank steak with chimmichurri sauce and rice and beans. The steak was really good and... More

Went in last night - Friday 8:30p. My wife and I sat at the Bar. Only about a dozen people inside, maybe four-six sitting at bar. Got our drinks rather quickly but slow follow-up, no big deal. We ordered the Cheese Plate, waited 45 mins. Then we were told 'they are working on it.' At 1hr, bartender says, "they thought... More

A Coral Gables mainstay, across from Actor's Playhouse in the Miracle theatre, John Martin's is a great restaurant and bar. Always has a futbol game in in addition to other sports. Service has always been good as well. Occasionally they host live music. Also, there is limited sideways seating.

Wife and I went and were disappointed with the service not to mention that the food was very bland. We had to ask for bread twice and when received it was staled and old. The only thing good is the ambience and décor, which is very nice, and the Guiness beer.

My friend and I hung out for part of the afternoon at John Martin's, in Coral Gables, on the Miracle Mile. The decor is nice, comfortable and cozy. The wait staff is accomodating and friendly. Their food is great for Pub type fare. Their onion soup was delicious. My friend had their mussels, which were tasty and served in a... More

Nice place for a few drinks and a good place to gather with friends. Mainly a bar in my opinion a great place to start the evening or have happy hour before walking to the other restaurants in the area. Their food is good but you feel like you are having dinner in a bar.

This place is a friendly bar with lots of regulars. Lunch is a bit pricey. many Irish specialties. Good shepards pie.

Very early dinner so not too many patrons. Tuesday. Excellent service with a very happy waitress. Good wine. Very fresh oysters and good escargot. Food was good specially the Irish Mix Grill. Same for the corned beef with boiled cabbage and boiled potatoes.Reasonable prices in a very different ambiance. Definitely will be back.

I'm a 30 year Miami resident and have been frequenting John Martin's for approximately 20 years. The bar owners are Irish born and raised as I know a few Irish who have relocated to Miami. The food is average at best. There are much better less expensive places on Miracle Mile. We used to frequent the bar/restaurant at least 5-6... More
