Description: Remember when Matt Dillon was eavesdropping on Cameron Diaz in the movie "There's Something About Mary"? They were at Red Fish Grill. And what a location! Whether dining outside under the Palms at the edge of Biscayne Bay or in the historic coral stone dining room, this restaurant is like nowhere else. It's a slice of Florida that disappeared long ago in most parts of Miami. But it's a lot more than atmosphere that brings in the locals and notables. The menu is dedicated to fresh local seafood, cooked with a gourmet twist, sometimes Caribbean... sometimes Asian. Best bets: Fennel Seared Yellowfin Tuna on Crispy Wonton, Crab Cakes with Tropical Melon Slaw, Red Snapper with Shaved Red Onion Fennel Salad, Herb Crusted Sea Bass with White Bean Ragout, homemade Key Lime Pie and Caramel Flan with Toasted Coconut. And a wine list that's reasonable and varied. Please visit our website for further details.

A romantic place, on a beautiful night…dine here. Request outside dining. Pick a cool night, not a rainy night.

You get here (which might be a challenge for some) and you already feel away from Miami. The place is very well set up and nicely decorated; however, better than the view is the service and the food. We tried to make a reservation online and couldn’t, so we drove over hoping for a table in a Saturday night. When... More

The food was excellent. It was one of the best meals I have had when visiting Miami. Beautiful views of Miami and Key Biscayne Bay. Get there before dark to walk around and enjoy the scene. Every dish was prepared to perfection. After your meal you get a little flashlight to walk around the water and it was a full... More

The Red Fish is turning into one of our favorite restaurants in the Miami area. Everything here is wonderful. It has a great out of the way location, near a marina in Coral Gables. Nothing else is around except water and views of Miami and Key Biscayne. My dinner of Bass was one of the most delicious meals I have... More

This is a special place. It is on Biscayne Bay, so mild breeze was present. The palm trees had lights wrapped around them. The tables were far enough apart, so we could have a conversation Great experience especially to take out of towers to. Several fish dishes that were very good. Overall a great time.

The food is delicious!! The scene very romantic and beautiful!! The service a bit too fast...seems as they want you to eat fast and leave fast! Can't really talk much between meals because they want to take the finished plate and bring the other quickly and it does come quickly...the check was giving while they delivered the desert..so they assume... A real adventure to find this place hidden in a park with minimal signage and incorrect GPS and Google maps directions. But, once found worth it. Most of the seating is outdoors. Beautiful setting. Tables spaced far enough apart for great privacy while being totally in public. The food is very good - especially the fish. The snapper was outstanding!... More

We had read the reviews on this restaurat and once we did we knew we needed to go. We all had the Corn and crab chowder- YUM! I had the snapper- and that was delicious as well. Our waitress was very nice and made sure we were well taken care of. One thing to know that this is off the... More

Not easy to find unless you've heard about it. Romantic atmosphere. Outside dining is a plus. Right on the water. Food was fantastic as well as service. I recommend Chilean sea bass.

I wanted to do something different...something romantic for our 6th wedding anniversary. I found that place at Red Fish Grill. It was an adventure getting there which added to the mystique. It's a hidden gem on the beach (literally). The restaurant is small and most of the seating is outside so please make a reservation. It is a perfect date... More
