Description: Remember when Matt Dillon was eavesdropping on Cameron Diaz in the movie "There's Something About Mary"? They were at Red Fish Grill. And what a location! Whether dining outside under the Palms at the edge of Biscayne Bay or in the historic coral stone dining room, this restaurant is like nowhere else. It's a slice of Florida that disappeared long ago in most parts of Miami. But it's a lot more than atmosphere that brings in the locals and notables. The menu is dedicated to fresh local seafood, cooked with a gourmet twist, sometimes Caribbean... sometimes Asian. Best bets: Fennel Seared Yellowfin Tuna on Crispy Wonton, Crab Cakes with Tropical Melon Slaw, Red Snapper with Shaved Red Onion Fennel Salad, Herb Crusted Sea Bass with White Bean Ragout, homemade Key Lime Pie and Caramel Flan with Toasted Coconut. And a wine list that's reasonable and varied. Please visit our website for further details.

During August and the "Miami Spice" program, be sure to make a reservation for Red Fish Grill and watch sunset over Biscayne Bay. The service is fabulous, the food is excellent, and with the Miami Spice menu, you won't break the bank to try it. The location is a small coral rock building with an outdoor area looking south. When... More

We came here on Saturday night for a wedding - the wedding was on the beach and was stunning. All the palm trees were lit up with lights and there was a beautiful breeze from the water. The food was very good, and even though it was a catered wedding the food is all available on the regular restaurant menu.... More

Not too many better settings for a restaurant in South Florida. As an added plus, food and prices are very good. Can't go too far wrong on all counts.

This is a bit late post but my girlfriend and I visited Red Fish for the second time and we tried the Miami Spice Menu. It was the best Miami Spice menu I have tasted. Not only that was pleasant, but our waitress (Nicole) gave us a wonderful service. We had gone a few months prior to this visit and... More

We were disappointed in an attenpt to have lunch here on a Saturday. They were closed to the public for a wedding. There was nothing on the website about it and we assumed they would be open during their posted hours. After paying the park admission fee (the restaurant is within Mathison Hammock county park), we were unabvle to heave... More

Perfect for special occasions, great ambiance, nice menu, small-- and sometimes closed for private events. Definitely make reservations!

You won´t just find this one, you need to know where it is. Me and my wife could not believe we were only a 45 min drive away from busy South Beach when we sat there. Peacefull, romantic and the food was out standing. The tuna was excellent, so was the tartar and the salad.

As posted by others the view is spectacular. We have been going there for a few years and have had some amazing meals. This week it was good but not up to excellence. The gazpacho soup was a big bust with canned tomatoes and not a fresh flavor.

The day of our reservations it was raining so we had to sit inside. I had never sat inside before because part of the experience to going to RFG is to enjoy the view. However, it was very nice ambience inside, and the service was excellent. Our server was very friendly and offered some wine suggestions to go with our... More

The Red Fish Grill is somewhat off the beaten track, being at the end of the road through Matheson Park in South Miami. But it is worth the effort to find. We have been there twice and have enjoyed excellent seafood and equally excellent service. Tonight we enjoyed the Ceviche of the Day, a tuna ceviche with a little kick,... More
