All restaurants should,be like Frenchie's, small, charming ambiance, excellent food, attentive service and great wine list. We have been there multiple times and have never been disappointed. If we could only clone the Castrecs and have one closer to,our home we would be there very day. Bon appeti!

Excellent French food, great service and nice ambiance at outside tables in quiet area. We had the duck confit, which was excellent but would have been even better if made with potatoes sarladaise as in France, the steak bernaise had good meat and sauce, the pear tartin was terrific, as was the coconut cake, and the price was fair for... This is one of those local gems, a neighborhood restaurant that is so easy to overlook but if you make the effort to find it you will have a terrific meal served in comfortable surroundings by people who really care. We came for lunch and knowing we would be busy for the evening decided to make it our main meal... More

Dinner here on Friday night and everything was good. I had the steak and frites. Meal was good, but the steak ended up being over done. I ordered medium and it came out well done. Mussels were very good as well as the appetizer. I would give them another try. Besides the steak I had no other problems

A really good honest food restaurant. 5 entries on tonight's menu. I love a small menu. That means they are good at what they do. The French Onion Soup -- to die for. Escargot tender and tasty. I had the moules and frites. Excellent. With all the French speakers around me, I thought I was in Paris.... well almost!!! I... More

I had lunch here the other day, having never heard of this place. I was very pleasantly surprised. The menu is on a blackboard they place on your table and is a mixture of French bistro fare (steak tartare, quiche) with traditional American items such as a burguer or a BLT. We split the firsse avec lardon which brought a... More

I have twice eaten at Frenchie's and while I love the food and the ambience, their service is lacking. Unfortunately on the two occasions I've dined at Frenchie's (lunch and dinner), I've had the same waiter. Inattentive best describes it. I had to ask what the "du Jour" offerings were and my entree order was not placed with the others... More

Food was absolutely wonderful - best trout and fries I have ever tasted. Loved the bustling, friendly atmosphere. Reservations will soon be a must as this jewel is discovered. Dinner is only served on Thurs & Fri evenings so plan accordingly.

This is a French bistro: Good honest food, simple ambiance, not very expensive. All of this on top of that traditional friendly French interpersonal courtesy :)) . It is the kind of place that you will go back to easily and will always be happy that you did .

First, let me say that I am an incredibly picky eater and French food in general scares me. However, this place was amazing. It has been a week and I am still thinking about how amazing that steak was. We came for a casual business meeting/date with the wives and despite it being Friday night were seated within 10 minutes,... More
