Description: The floor-to-ceiling rotisseries, red walls and comfy booths invite you to stay, but Pardo's Cuisine is attuned to our grab-and-go culture. A slew of delivery and takeout deals plus curbside service offers the best of both worlds: home-cooked, slow-roasted Peruvian flavor with fast-food immediacy. This Coral Gables spot is the only U.S. outlet for the Lima-based chain that specializes in pollo a la brasa, spit-grilled chicken with crunchy skin, a moist interior and an intoxicating marinade of 14 "secret" herbs and spices that hint of cumin, paprika, annatto, soy sauce and lots of salt. Beef lovers will rejoice over lomo saltado clasico, a Peruvian stir-fry of marinated steak strips, with onions, tomatoes and soy sauce over white rice and French fries. "Pardos" is a term for Peruvians of mixed heritage, and this warm, casual eatery uses the best of Chinese, Spanish, African and native influences in its unpretentious cuisine.

Absolutely loved this restaurant. I have never tried Peruvian food but the menu was intriguing so I walked in...wow, I was delighted. Chicken croquet appetizer was fantastic and very filling. Main dish was Chicken based and was fresh, and topped with fresh cooked vegetables, and sides of white rice topped with an egg, and fried plantains. Fantastic and all very... More

My first time eating peruvian cuisine, & Pardos put in a very good word for their food. On the first visit, couldn't stop snacking on the baked corn pieces with mustard sauce given to all the tables. Highly addicting. Ordered the Aji de Gallina. Blown away! A comforting meal that just melted in your mouth. On the second visit, had... More

I came to Pardos looking for somethign different in a sea of usual restaurants in Coral Gables. I was pleasantly surpised. Food is great, service is really quick, in spite of the restaurant being busy. I had quinoa salad with tuna and it was refreshing, well done and differet. Their house wines are very good and very well priced. I... More

Second time visited this restaurant and very disappointed. Being peruvian born, I ordered the ceviche (pescado) and never had a CHILLI ceviche served to me before, the dish had been in the refrigerator and the onions placed on top like it was freshly made, the lemon juice was cold and the entree was one of the items in the lunch... As soon as I walked in, I was immediately greeted by a well groomed server. Sat down by the window to people watch. The place had dim lighting and narrow but felt intimate. I had the traditional ceviche mixto and tuna causa. The ceviche was fresh and a had kick to it. The tuna was good too but nothing special...well... More

Small but chic restaurant with a couple of outdoor tables that always pleases if you're looking for seafood with a Peruvian slant. Their sauces are sublime, but I've never figured out how to eat that complimentary parched corn appetizer. Finger food? But don't let them take away any of that green sauce. Use it on your main dish. We had... More

Loved their chicken. It is so moist and has great flavor. Good size portions and have great lunch specials. Gets really busy at lunch. Their chicken with cilantro rice is great. Very good salads too.

The chicken was good..it resembles the Pardo's chicken in Peru. The beet salad was not fresh enough. The charged us to the chili, not that I didn't want to pay. I just run out of "aji" and I couldn't find a waiter to refil my "aji", so I had to eat the rest of my chicken without aji...Every Peruvian must... More

Excellent food. Good value. When you get tired of Cuban food this could spice things up. I like the their coriander rice and rotisserie chicken with the spicy yellow sauce. The steamed vegetables with beet root goes very well with the rice and chicken. The ceviche was very nice.
