The fish and chips were the best. Very nice and flakey white fish with fries. The crab cakes tasted like they were made with imitation crab meat and were very mushy. The waitress apologized, but did nothing about it. Burgers were ok.

This is a nice place for great food! Several in our party claim that this place has the best Shepherds Pie anywhere. I got the grilled grouper and it was fantastic. The crab cakes also got rave reviews. Will definitely be back.

This is a great place to catch the World Cup, have a pint and get some great English food. There are tons of TVs with sports of all kinds playing, even on the patio. There are great typical pub selections, burgers and sandwiches, but i always get the fish and chips.

If you want probably the best fish & chips in the area try the "white fish daily special". The batter is crispy and delicious. The home made soups are also worth a try.

This place is great! We ate here twice in our week long visit. We chose to come back to this restaurant instead of visiting another popular eatery in the area. My husband said that the fish and chips were the best he'd ever had. He liked it enough to order it twice. I had the sausage and chips the first... More

We stumbled upon the Pig & Whistle just by driving past. I'm so glad we stopped. The staff was amazingly accommodating. The food was fantastic, and the prices were very reasonable. There were five of us (3 adults and 2 kids). Between us we ordered the shepherds pie (phenomenal), fish and chips(simply delicious) an angus cheeseburger, fried shrimp, and grilled... More

Saw an ad for Haddock Tuesdays and went to get some. Service was great, food was excellent and was served very quick. We also ordered 2 different kinds of soup, with both of them being really good.

Thumbs up from all six of our family. Aged 5 thru old enough to know. Mac & Cheese to die for. Great shepard's pie and burgers. TV's tuned into all sporting events, big screens closed captioned. What more could a sports enthusiast ask for? Beers all types & prices that's what! By the way they are open late in the... More
