I had never stopped at the Pig and Whistle and glad we did. The minute I walked in, I could smell the fish and chips. We came for some drinks, but wished I had an appetite cause the food smelled so good. I looked at the menu, and it made we want to come back to eat next time. I... read more

OK, so we go here off and on, but, went this time for the fish and chips which have ALWAYS been the best, not so this time. The fish was way overcooked and the chips were not fresh like they usually are. The Irish stew special that day was also disappointing. You do not make Irish stew with canned vegetables,... More

The Pig and Whistle is a good eating and drinking spot. More bar atmosphere than restaurant. Pretty noisy. Staff is very attentive. Three people ordered the fish and chips. They all thought the fish was good. Very large portion. I ordered the Shepard's Pie. I found it to be excellent. Dessert was a tad disappointing. My dessert looked like it... More

We stopped for a quick bite and wow! They had a really good hamburger!! The bar was full service and offered many drink specials. Service was good and so was the price!

Wife had the steak and onion pie and I had the Shepherd's pie. Both were delicious. The gravy was perfectly done.

Our shepherd's pies (with vegies in them) were terrific. The draft beers were perfect. The service was outstanding. Never a piece of food or paper left for a minute on tables or floor despite the busy atmosphere. Lots of families as well as couples of all ages. Outside tables available as well. Lots of local people. Very affordable too! Easy... More

Went there as a second choice with my mother and preschool age child. The building looks promising from the outside, but the inside needs to be updated. As a British pub I didn't have high expectations for food diversity, but I was surprised at how excessively greasy everything was. I had a burger and fries, my mother the same and... More

We were there on Sunday, 11/29/15. The bartender who was working was great! She was very friendly and attentive. I wish more servers and bartenders were like her. We had Bloody Marys, and a few shots. All tasted great. I had the grilled cheese and ham sandwich.. Very good! I highly recommend this place. It's a very nice pub where... More

The Tuesday night special of fish and chips was decent but the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was quite loud, which was a major deterrent. My husband's fish sandwich was undercooked. Sadly we didn't thoroughly enjoy our dining experience. It may be more of a place for locals for drinks and casual eats.
