We went there with high expectations because of the good reviews on tripadvisor, but we were deeply disappointed. The chef uses good ingredients, nice fresh fish, good crab meat, but he ruines the taste completely: vegetables and rice overcooked and soaked in sauce, taste and flavor reduced to very spicy or sweet and even worse a combination of it ....... more

Found this restaurant through Trip Advisor and decided to go there on the evening before we left for a cruise from Port Canaveral. We were VERY pleased. Not a restaurant for kids like the previous review said, but there were a couple of kids there the night we went. Delicious, eclectic menu and excellent wine selection. Great service. Our server... more

All the great reviews so far regarding this restaurant are spot on. Don't go here if you have small children, it's not that kind of restaurant...(I have nothing against kids, I have three of my own). Don't go here if you are looking for a huge portion of fried food ~ this is available at nearly every other restaurant in... more

Fat Snook has become such a favorite of mine that we drive from Orlando (about an hour away) just for dinner here. They have imaginative & fresh food, with superb service in a laid-back & casual atmosphere. I am particularly fond of the fresh fish specials, the deconstructed lasagne and the awesome selection of wines! more

Might have been expecting to much after seeing all these 5 star reviews, but definitely isn't 5 stars. On the bright side, service was outstanding! Definitely 5 stars. On the downside, first, it is very loud. Place is very small and it is very loud in there, actually was hard to hear my wife across the table. My wife was... more

I'm in from out-of-town for work and wanted a good, local, dining experience. I read numerous TripAdvisor reviews before hand, and had seen a few which bashed The Fat Snook and recommended Pompano Grill instead. Because Pompano was a little closer, and because of the reviews, I stopped by there first. Arriving at 8:50 on a Saturday night, the door... more

I was looking for a place to go with my parents while on vacation, and since we didn't have too much experience with the area I decided to let trip advisor steer us. I say not too much exerience with the area, but my parents come here every year for two weeks for vacation. The area food has always been... more

My partner & I recently went to the Fat Snook after a recommendation by the Inn at Cocoa Beach, backed up by a review in the Lonely Planet guide. I am still dreaming about the Blue Crab Cake appetiser that we both had; Mango salsa & Macadamia Nut butter completed a genuine vision of heaven. The restaurant was quiet but... more

We went to The Fat Snook on Monday June 29 for my birthday. I did not meniton it to anyone when I made the reservation. It has a nice atmosphere and the waitress was prompt and attentive. However, she did put in the wrong order for my husband's entree. I got Lobster bisque for an appetizer, it was so-so. A... more
