We'd heard this was the best gourmet restaurant in the area, so when a family friend who is a food and restaurant aficionado was visiting, we took him to The Fat Snook. The food was very good, in my opinion; some of us thought our meals were outstanding, while others weren't wowed by the food. Two of our party complained... More

A coworker found this place on a Yelp review. The staff was fantastic and friendly. Their wine is amazing, but the prices reflect it. As we sat at the bar waffling over wine selections and they kindly poured us a little taste of several vintages so we could make a good choice. They were very accommodating. There were two fish... Presentation of food was spectacular. Favors were extremely well chosen. My guest had an allergy to a certain ingredient and they were wonderful in bringing to his attention that this ingredient could also be found in a food item he had ordered that he was unaware of. Great work by the staff and shows their experience and care. Only recommendation... More

The soup, corn chowder w/ potato and habanero was delicious.. not as spicy as I was hoping and more potato than corn than I was expecting. The homemade bread with citrus butter was outstanding. I am vegetarian by heart. My fiancé ordered the filet mignon, I tried a bite- didn't like it. I ordered the scallop & shrimp newberg dish... More

Dined here on a Saturday night with another couple on the recommendation of a local who considers it his favorite restaurant in the area. We were not disappointed but our wildest expectations were not exceeded either. Fish and crustaceans were our main courses. The tilefish was expertly cooked and interestingly presented on a potato pancake fried in duck fat. Outstanding.... More

After reading all the outstanding reviews, I assumed the food would be wonderful but I was curious as to why the restaurant didn't rate higher up the ladder. Now I understand. It's a pretty little place and the menu and the servers pride themselves on being very sophisticated and ambitious. However, when asked if the chef could turn down the... More

Food and wine were superb. You will not be disappointed! Each dish is prepared with attention to taste, elegance, appearance and especially to titillate your taste buds. The cacophony of flavors in each bite is simply amazing!

Stopped in without a reservation and sat at the bar. We had excellent service and a very nice meal. My husband and I split our dinner and it was plenty for both of us.
