Good Cuban food in Cocoa Beach

I had lunch here today with two friends. I'd not eaten at Roberto's in years, but the food was just as good as I remembered. I don't eat meat, so went with a shrimp dish--lightly breaded, fried shrimp in a tasty (and not overpowering) garlic sauce. The entrees come with a choice of three side... read more

We've eaten a lot of South American and Caribbean food in recent years in various countries, and were excited to try this place while in town on holiday weekend. The restaurant appeared only half full but service was quite slow to take our order, and turn out the plates. Maybe they were understaffed, but that's on management for the poor... More

Roberto's Little Havana is the first Restaurant we visit as soon as we get to Cocoa Beach. Their Wings & Cuban Sandwiches are the BEST! I wish they could deliver to Michigan year round!

This was the absolute best breakfast that we have ever had! I love exploring new places with my wife since we can order a lot of food and share - this was a great spot just for that! We ordered the Breakfast Burrito (served with black beans, chopped onion and salsa on side), the Texas Breakfast (steak and eggs with... More

Roberto's was recommended from our kayaking tour guide. He said the food is delicious and they have been in Cape Canaveral as long as he can remember. We arrived at 1130 on a Sun and were surprised that they were still on the breakfast menu. However, we were not disappointed. All of our food was delicious and the service was... More

Home fries were deep fried cubes and waitress engaged in long conversation while my food and toast got cold. Pork chops were boneless slices from a roast.

There are not many options for Cuban food in the Cocoa Beach area and being from Tampa I miss the opportunity for some good Cuban food. Roberto's is the best Cuban food in the county and always satisfies my craving. The family run cafe has daily specials and a nice Sangria. I love the ropa vieja (sp?) and my husband... More

The service was poor and completely inefficient. There were as many staff as there were customers, yet there was a wait for everything and some things were never brought. The server was clearly not new to her job, or at least new to the world of serving, simply uninterested. It was just a restaurant full of apathetic employees. If this... More

We wanted to find out what traditional Cuban food is like. Had the lamb and the snapper, of the two entrees the snapper was most memorable. Both soups respectable. Salads were ice berg lettuce, mybe that's standard for Cuba? The snapper was well presented and very tasty. Lamb was a bit stringy but flavorful. We ordered a guava-mango cheescake that... More

Since I last came here, things have improved. We came for breakfast on the way to work this week and it was a lot better. The food was better cooked and not so bland. The cuban coffee is very nice and the service was better also. The only comment is the mushrooms they use in omelettes need cooking differently, fresh... More
