Just like many of the other reviews stated, there was a bit of a weird smell. Don't let that keep you from trying this place out. My steak was fantastic and they cooked it just as I requested.

The appearance of the restaurant was interesting, being an adapted old train car. It had a bit of a strange smell when we entered but got a nice booth. They had a nice salad bar which we enjoyed with some wonderful soup. The entrees we had we nice but nothing spectacular. The prices were reasonable so we were happy.

We were down for spring training and drove by this place and checked out review on trip advisor. We stopped for dinner on a Friday night and the place was very busy but we got seated right away. Salad bar was very good with lots to choose from. In our party of three, two of us got prime rib and... More

We met with family there, 6 of us. The place was interesting, but smelled like musty mold. The server was still chewing her food as she finally greeted us. The salad bar was fresh, and had loads of options. The burger was odd on a hoagie roll and shaped to fit:/ the flounder was actually flounder, but obviously a frozen... More

Have always had good food and service at this restaurant. Love the atmosphere of the train cars as being the restaurant. It's a very good local destination for dinner.

I'm an adventurous person. This was a mistake and I regret eating there . The place is dirty. It needs a thorough cleaning top to bottom. The service is surly and they charge you two bucks if you don't eat everything on your salad bar plate. Should have gone to Subway. Seriously.

We eat often at Grandpa's Steakhouse in Cocoa, FL on 520. It's not fancy, but has lots of old-fashioned atmosphere. Part of the outside is fashioned from two trains - made to look like one - and in the back (which is where the entrance is) there are big oaks with moss hanging and even an old outhouse for decoration,... Our friends pride themselves on finding unusual places to eat that are off the beaten path and most likely would be passed by without a second thought. We were not impressed with the exterior, but knowing our friends taste for good, reasonably priced food, I knew it had to be better than first blush. The long line at the entrance... More
