Our party of 8 stopped here on our way from Coco Beach to Orlando. An ice cold beverage on a hot day was in order, followed by an airboat ride and a sampling of alligator. The airboat ride was great, and we observed gators, eagles, cows wading through the water with their little ones and a myriad of various birds.... More

Now for the rest of our lives we can say that we tasted alligator! Just that is worth to go. We took frog legs and hushpuppies too. Exotic !

Take 520 instead of the Beach Line and save some toll money and stop at the Lone Cabbage Fish Camp just as you enter Brevard County at the St. Johns River. You can have a meal of alligator, frogs legs and catfish and then take an airboat ride into the swampy parts of central Florida. All right at the Lone... More

This restaurant is very family friendly. There are tour buses that come, they have live bands once a month, you can buy a ticket for an airboat tour, or just sit by the St. Johns River. There is an indoor bar with tvs or just take in the atmosphere. The bathrooms are VERY small. All and all, I'd say a... More

If you're traveling and want to meet some genuine central Floridians, then eat at the Lone Cabbage! Food is very good, the Mahi sandwich is my go to. I stop in here on the way home from work from time to time and the conversation with the locals is always the best part of the meal! They have bands on... More

I took my DD to have dinner here one early evening. I think it is a fun place with that old FL style. Very friendly staff, and the food is good. Nothing at all fancy here, but they do serve gator, if interested. We went with the chicken basket and fish tacos. All good. It was a great place to... More

This is an off-the-beaten path restaurant that features great food and excellent Florida ecotourism. The food isn't fancy but the gator, frog legs, and shrimp basket were delicious. Chicken fingers for the kids. Made fresh and tasty to delight those with even a discerning palate. A break from typical fare. Local flavor and charm. Spend the day and take an... More

We met family here for lunch. Service was prompt and outstanding. Food was mostly great to fair. Fish tacos, mahi, shrimp, catfish, gator bites, hush puppies great. Fried chicken fair. I hope to visit here every year & take the air boat ride on future visits.

Loved this place! The ambience and style of this bar and restaurant is perfect - not corporate at all and reflects the personal touch. People must remember that it's a fish camp so you're not going to get fine dinnerware but what you will get it fabulous service, friendly staff, good food and a great atmosphere. We booked the airboat... More
