It was dark .. It's out in the middle of nowhere, but the reviews said it was worth the 9.2 mile drive in the wrong direction from home ;) It's a bar .. That's all you can say about it in the dark .. Inside the people are friendly and it's pretty clean .. Soda served in a can ..... More

My husband loves this place and goes there every chance he gets! We enjoy the scenery and love the chicken wings, gator bites, and hush puppies.

If you are looking for a somewhat authentic biker bar/rustic hangout or for a beautiful sunset on the St. John's waterway then definitely make a point to stop here. The food isn't fancy and its pretty much all fried, but what do you expect from a fish camp? Coq au vin? The hush puppies are decent, the cole slaw is... More

We have been going here for nearly 25 years but never got around to doing a review. The Lone Cabbage is right on the St Johns River and you can have a meal there then go on an airboat ride. Its more or less a biker bar, but a friendly place. After all, bikers are good people. Bring the kids,... More

Love this place! Always take family here when they are I'm town... Its a VERY casual place and not for anyone who is "FANCY " :-) The food is fried, but is very very good. Never had something I didn't like!

We had a late dinner here last night (September 20th). "Rustic" was the first word that came to my mind, it's not kept very clean, and there were spider webs (with spiders) everywhere. I was a little creeped out the entire time I was there. I was excited to try the food because Trip Advisor gave it four stars. I... More

Our party of 8 stopped here on our way from Coco Beach to Orlando. An ice cold beverage on a hot day was in order, followed by an airboat ride and a sampling of alligator. The airboat ride was great, and we observed gators, eagles, cows wading through the water with their little ones and a myriad of various birds.... More

Now for the rest of our lives we can say that we tasted alligator! Just that is worth to go. We took frog legs and hushpuppies too. Exotic !

Take 520 instead of the Beach Line and save some toll money and stop at the Lone Cabbage Fish Camp just as you enter Brevard County at the St. Johns River. You can have a meal of alligator, frogs legs and catfish and then take an airboat ride into the swampy parts of central Florida. All right at the Lone... More
