This is an off-the-beaten path restaurant that features great food and excellent Florida ecotourism. The food isn't fancy but the gator, frog legs, and shrimp basket were delicious. Chicken fingers for the kids. Made fresh and tasty to delight those with even a discerning palate. A break from typical fare. Local flavor and charm. Spend the day and take an... More

We met family here for lunch. Service was prompt and outstanding. Food was mostly great to fair. Fish tacos, mahi, shrimp, catfish, gator bites, hush puppies great. Fried chicken fair. I hope to visit here every year & take the air boat ride on future visits.

The shrimp and gator tail were tender and perfect. We tried the frog legs and they were interesting!!!The fish taco was also very tasty.

Loved this place! The ambience and style of this bar and restaurant is perfect - not corporate at all and reflects the personal touch. People must remember that it's a fish camp so you're not going to get fine dinnerware but what you will get it fabulous service, friendly staff, good food and a great atmosphere. We booked the airboat... More

We always make it a point to eat at Lone Cabbage Fish Camp when we go to get an air boat ride. My kids love it there (11 and 13 year olds). They love the catfish and I always get the combo platter with the catfish, gator and frogs legs. The gator is great! If you want some good Florida... More

It's been about 6 years since we have been at the Lone Cabbage. I can say that it is as good as it was. The wait staff is fast and efficient. The food is hot and tasty. They bread almost all the seafood. The drinks are cold, and their are alligators to watch. The only negative which is minor is... More

Finally stopped here for lunch after passing it about a hundred times to and from Cocoa. I knew they served gator among other Southern choices (like frog legs) and initially I was thinking of ordering gator but didn't want something fried, so I chose marinated Tuna steak. My wife got fried fish. The hushpuppies, cole slaw were good. The french... More

Good menu selection. Mostly fried food. Food was hot when brought to the table. Sunday afternoons they have free music on the patio.

This is my third visit to this old establishment, located on the St. John's River. I love their simple food/menu. I had the fish tacos this time, with fries. A mild whitefish used, with Pico de Gallo, lettuce and cheese, if you ask. A nice flour tortilla. Two fish tacos, fries, and a bottled water, $7.99. Service is quick, efficient,... More

Really enjoyed our experience dining outdoors here. I am so glad I thought to google the zip code that we were staying at for the night. We wanted fish, we wanted local, we wanted casual. This was all of the above, plus affordable, simply delicious and generous pours of wine. Will definitely return when in these parts. They need to... More
