Great Airboat Ride

Our captain was great, he was a funny and a great driver, he found us several gators, was very courteous to other boaters on the water, and was good about involving the kids.

This place is super cool. You can eat, go airboat riding, hang out with the locals and tourists...it's all good. Finding a restaurant that serves frog legs is difficult and finding one that knows how to prepare them properly is even more difficult. Lone cabbage knows how to do it. I've visited here several times over the past 13 years... More

Graham my Husband is writing this as he spent time there. I was taken there by a very good friend of mine. I spent 5 weeks in Florida, on holiday from Australia. First time have had Frog Legs, strange but very nice. Hush Puppies, again great, and the rest of the meal was outstanding. We got there late in the... More

This is a neat place to get the feel of of the foundation of America. Good food priced right, and an atmosphere that is true blue America to the core. Oh, and the 'gators are neat, too. Try out the airboats next door.

We took and airboat tour with the Lone Cabbage company, and although we did not see any gators, our tour guide was awesome, and very informative! I felt very safe in the boat, ear defenders were provided, it was a cloudy cool day which is why we didn't see any gators. At the end of the ride, we tasted some... More

The airboat rides at the Lone Cabbage are really fun and relaxing. We took out of town guests on the airboat ride, and we all enjoyed it. You see a lot of wildlife and learn about the river, animals, and vegetation nearby. The tours are a little pricey, but worth it!

On a whim we decided to take an airboat tour. Although it was the off season, it was still a beautiful day to be on the water. We saw tiny gator but fully understood the weather conditions, time of year and busy waters played part. The food looked good and the atmosphere was riverfront and unique! Would love to visit... My husband and I heard about this place from another couple on Cocoa Beach and decided to give it a try. We had rode past on the Harley many time but honestly, it doesn't look very appealing. Boy were we surprised!!!! We decided to try out the Lone Cabbage this past Sunday for our weekly bike ride day and looked... More

Good food, good fun, wildlife and occasional live music. Gator meat and local specialties. Friendly service. A nice place to get away from it all without going too far away.

I have lived in the area 25 years and have heard many good stories about the Lone Cabbage. Finally got a chance to eat here for lunch and was not disappointed. I had the fried catfish and loved it. There is nothing else around here and it looks sketchy from the outside. The service was good. All the food was... More
