Gator lunch

The gator basket lunch was great, and after lunch we took a air boat ride and did get to see 3 wild gators on the tour.

This bar / restaurant situated on the banks of the river Arlington has a decent food (catfish and alligator ), the beer is cold and the friendliness of staff! Just what it takes... Este restaurante/bar situado nas margens do rio Arlington tem uma comida decente ( bagres e aligatores fritos) , a cerveja gelada e uma simpatia de empregados!

Ended up meeting some friends here for lunch as it was halfway between home and the Orlando airport. We did not partake in any drinking but is seems like the place to do that as well as attend a Sunday event with music and a catfish fry, if you like that sort of thing. We had bar food I think... We were on an excursion into the central everglades looking for gators on air boats off the RC Quantum of the Sea, and this is where the tour began and ended. We didn't eat there, but had a quick drink. It is known as a biker bar and there was live music playing on a Sunday. The place looks like... More

If you want to go to an outside bar where you can sit and watch cool Motorcycles, air boats and Florida wildlife, then you will like this place, BUT if you are wanting to eat there as well then this is not a good choice. food is bland and greasy. They need to spend a little money to fix the... More

Been going to Lone cabbage for as long as I can remember and it is just a shame that every year this place seems to be going more and more downhill. With as many people that eat here and come to drink on the weekends why the owner does not renovate and clean this place is very hard to comprehend.... More

Florida's finest greasy food.... don't bother unless you are going to drink beer. BTW, they serve Coke products from the can not the fountain. This will run your bill up very fast. I had a un-sweet Arnold Palmer that was refilled with no problems. I ordered one of the "favorites" the Sante Fe chicken wrap...it was lettuce and grilled chicken... More

We had a party of six, but seated at a table suited for maybe four. I was on the inside seat closest to the window. The window had all kinds of dead bugs and spiders. After the waitress got irritated with us for not understanding how we would like the bills split, we received our food. I ordered the Santa... More

I had been to the Lone Cabbage many times over the years, and was never impressed, as it generally seemed to be frozen bar food. My, how times have changed. My wife stopped in a few times recently with family, and told me how good it was. Not really believing her, I finally succumbed and visited. I've been there three... More

Gator, frog legs, shrimp, catfish, cornbread, cole slaw, baked beans. Yes this place has it all. Great old fashioned Florida style cooking. Love them frog legs, yes sir! Tastes like frog legs and not chicken. Home grown atmosphere with real Cocoa natives serving up the goods with great service. You can catch a ride on an airboat here also. Not... More
