I like to avoid chains. We were staying nearby on vacation and were ready to find dinner and beverages after a day at the pool. After a quick internet search, this seemed to fit the bill for our crew (3 adults + 2 children). The menu had good variety. Our table tried the liver & onions, fish & chips, burger... More

Heard a lot about this pub before I visited and stayed at the High Grove villa site, we had a late flight in so thought we would go there after unpacking and getting ourselves sorted. Sat at the bar, and the service was quick enough, the food menu was also easily to hand, and the prices seemed reasonable enough. There... More

We went here for dinner one Thursday night around 8 and the pub quiz had just started. We all enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere was really good and friendly. The waitress was very helpful and gave us some good ideas of when to come and what to try. I also came here for a number of Premier League games... More

I have always held my hat off to the real American service and passion for customers. This is evident in abundance at Devenney's from the simple bar decor, simple but exceptional quality food (battered haddock and chips as good as fresh from the quayside in Scotland; sublime Steak & Guinness pie as voted by husband and 10yr old daughter) in... Had four adults and two children in our party. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Food took a little long, but only because it was prepared fresh. Excellent chicken potpie, fish & chips, and Guinness beef potpie. Quant Irish theme is a plus too. We ate here twice during our vacation. Would definitely come back.

as 4 golfers, we enjoyed our dinner here. All had steaks, shared appitizers. Good meals, expensive drinks. But, I would return again.

We finally went to Devenney's Pub and had supper. It was shortly after 5 pm so we had their Haddock & chips which were best we've had. Also 2nd meal was 1/2 price. Being happy hour we also had 2-4-1 drinks, Yeungling beer and Vodka & tonic. We took a menu back with us to plan our next meal there... More

We visited this pub by chance on a Thursday night and ended up doing the pub Quiz. It was a lot of fun and not taken seriously like some places, we had a great time the staff were friendly and always there to refill your drinks. We had a meal one night and it was very tasty, in fact they... More

Was staying right around the corner from here. Stopped three times during our weeklong stay. We should have only stopped twice. The first stop was early on a Saturday. Not many people in the place but Michael the bartender was very nice and helpful. The food was OK but everyone who ordered burgers asked for medium and everyone got well... More

After visiting 2 year ago and having a terrible Sunday dinner we decided to try again. Surely it's improved ? No! The food was cold. The veg were not cooked. Shepherds pie very dry. Such a shame as it's a great bar.
