This is one of the great places on the planet and certainly the best in Clearwater (especially if raining otherwise the Bait House is close). Go, have some laughs, you could be in the Mid-West!

On a business trip and a friend said to try the original Frenchy's. The grouper sandwich, slaw and seafood gumbo was excellent well worth the drive from Tampa.

Great spot within the streets. Food was excellent and prepared very fast for those in a rush. Had lunch there 3 times.

When they're busy just to the bar and eat instead of waiting for beers and lunch. The grouper sandwich was excellent and Monday is $1.25 special beers

We heard about Frenchies our entire trip. Our apartment was close so thought we would try it. Very small and very crowded. Service was excellent. We ate the recommended grouper sandwitch which was OK.

Old knotty pine paneling, good reasonable food especially the daily special. There was old side seating. They also had a bar with a cheap daily special.

There is something classic about Frenchy's Original Cafe. It's like a beachtown diner, local pub, and carries a flavor of a previous era, while keeping their menu fresh and inviting for repeat business. We were there when the special of the day was fried shrimp. Came with fries and slaw, with the slaw being a sweet variety with chunks of... More
