Waterfront dining at its finest! Family-owned & operated for over 100 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm & award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine & wine list. Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Filet Mignon "Columbia," & fresh seafood specialties. Sample a fine Spanish wine like Torres, Montecillo or Campillo. Don't miss our world-famous "1905" SaladTM, named “One of America’s Top 10 Best Salads” by the Salad Guy – Wiley Mullins in USA Today -- The only restaurant in Florida to be named. Whether you choose a table looking out onto the radiant blue waters of the Intracoastal Waterway from the Mediterranean dining room, or experience the casual atmosphere from our outdoor deck on the water, you can enjoy the cuisine that has consistently been voted Tampa Bay's Favorite. We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365-days a year, including all holidays.

Nice Afternoon Meal

We dined early, about five o'clock, and we ate outside by the water. It was a nice meal. Their salads were particularly good. They follow older recipes for their salads. The salads have ice burg lettuce rather than the darker greens most newer recipes employ. I would go back. Excellent service... read more

We stopped at the Columbia, Sand Key for lunch, on our way home from a Dolphin cruise from Clearwater. The Columbia has always been our favorite restaurant wherever we are in Florida....but, Wednesday, 4/15/2015, was a warm breezy day, so we ate outside on the waterfront patio....Wonderful to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful spring day...no mosquitoes, no sea gulls...just... Tried here on day-trip over from Orlando for break from theme parks. Had found on Trip Advisor and handy location especially if planning on visiting Sand Key Park for beach-few hundred yards down road. Not much to look at from the "front" but restaurant looks out at back over the bay-option of indoor AC eating or outside covered terrace-quite a... More

I came with a group of 3, and even though the restaurant was completely booked, our server (Nash) was always an arm's reach away when needed. The food was delicious, the servings were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend this historic restaurant to all in the area.

Columbia is a Cuban restaurant (part of a small chain actually) and this location is spectacular with bay views and beautiful tile work along the walls. Despite it's large size, be sure you make a reservation if coming for dinner, they fill up quickly in busy seasons. The food was unique and well prepared, the wait staff enjoyable, too. Be... More

I had the best prepared fish I think I have ever had in my life! Plus, the sangria is amazing and fun. Best of all, the view of the dolphins playing in the water in front of is made the experience surreal and a great last meal on our trip!

We are locals and love Columbias food. However tonight we had reservations but their valet parking was a disaster!!! No one was actually parking cars. They were just jockeying cars of people leaving and not taking anyone else's car. We left after waiting 30 minutes in the parking lot. They have to figure something out or they'll lose more customers.... More

Thank you for letting us know about the issue you had with our valet company. We contract with a local company to manage parking our guests cars, and are sorry that they did not do their job properly. We will speak to them to find out what went wrong so they can make improvements. More

Our family normally doesn't try new foods but this helped greatly. The Cuban food was wonderful! The bread and salads are great and the steak, filet was even better. I highly recommend.

We have enjoyed many meals at various Columbia restaurants--Tampa, St. Petersburg, and St. Augustine. It's a good thing we enjoyed them, because we may not be having any more. We arrived for our 6:30 PM reservation with four out of town guests (we live in St. Petersburg, they in Atlanta) who were looking forward to the dishes The Columbia serves... More

We enjoy hearing from long time guests such as yourself, and we thank you for visiting us at a different location. As you mentioned, we are located in a shopping center, but we do not only have a total of four parking spaces. There is parking throughout the shopping center that is available for all guests. In addition, we also... More
