Went with my family during Spring break for dinner. Server was extremely cold and did not look like she liked her job much. We asked her to box up our food and she expected is to walk out of this 'upscale' restaurant with our boxes in our hands - she didn't put them in a bag. She looked annoyed the... More

We were visiting Winter the Dolphin at Clearwater Aquarium and my friend recommended this place and she was right. Amazing prime rib, great table outside, great garnishes (I didn't even know I liked cottage cheese?), and I could have licked the apple butter bowl. Great dinner, good classic service, and perfect location. We took a sunset stroll after dinner. Love... More

On our 2nd visit we chose the lighter room with the sailing theme. No music, and server was not articulate because of her foreign language. Specials were mostly chicken, but the fried chicken was excellent as was the salmon. Next time we will specify darker dining room because of musician and better servers. It is still the best valuein Cearwaterbeach

After trying to figure out where our family of four (two older teen daughters) would dine on our last night at the beach, we asked our server at our hotel what place he would recommend. He said the Beachcomber. We had 6:30 reservation and got there 20 min. early. We were seated right away. The dinning room we were in... More

As other reviews say, this place has been around for a while but has kept its standards high. The service experience was a little unusual, but all of our food was good quality and at reasonable prices.

This is an old school family run place. Old school in the right ways. Big place, busy, noisy, but very nice. We had very good service. The menu is fairly extensive. Entrees included salads and sides. Prices are pretty reasonable considering the food quality and street address. I went out on a limb and tried something new for me. Frog... More

I overheard the waitress tell some diners that they the restaurant was in year 66 with the same family as owners...our food was good, not great, but very good food and large portions. We enjoyed the filet and the seafood platter, both are served with a salad choice and side item. The salads were wonderful, we enjoyed the beefsteak tomato... More

We ate here while on springbreak. We sat outside which was not bad with the heaters. The service and food were both excellent. We have teenagers which is fine but I personally would not bring small children to this restaurant if you really want to enjoy the atmosphere and great wine list

I made reservations one week ahead to celebrate a birthday. We arrived 45min early and valet parked. Then we walked across the street to the Hilton hotel and had some drinks on the beach tables enjoying the beautiful sunset. Back at the restaurant we were seated promptly (9 of us). The food selection and quality was excellent and the service... More

First time at this establishment. Celebrated Aunt's 96th birthday with family. Great menu choices from land and sea. The Chilean Sea Bass with spicy red pepper sauce was excellent. Very comfortable setting, fantastic service staff. Plan to come back again and again. Next time I will try the outside seating.
