Outstanding Service and Very Good Food

We had a family celebration and were very pleased with our experience. Our group had a combination of meats and seafood and all were very good. Also we enjoyed the "old school" atmosphere with modern updates.

My wife and I went out of our way to go to the Beachcomber on our 23rd anniversary a week ago. She grew up in Clearwater but never had the opportunity to dine there. We had made reservations and checked in with the hosts a half hour early. We went to the bar for drinks (and enjoyed the company of... More

We decided to have my B-day dinner at Beachcombers. This proved to be a very good decision. We found the ambiance fantastic, the Hostess very friendly and our server was great. I ordered the Alaskan King Crab legs ...(can't go wrong with that), my husband ordered the Rib Eye steak. Perfectly cooked. It was a fabulous meal.

We visited at 5pm on a Sunday evening and was seated in a booth area. The straight faced female server took our drink order and totally forgot about our two children. We were not read the specials that were not on the menu (I only knew these existed as I overheard another server on another table) We were bought a... More

We recently had dinner with a group of 8 people and were attended to by a waiter named jorge...he was so rude and we had to ask for his service repeatedly. Not only that but he was rude that we did not leave a big enough tip for him...gee I wonder why!!! When you don't give good service you don't... More

It's so nice to sit in a clean elegant restaurant at a table with layers of linens and live piano music, with an attentive waiter from the old school who carries a crumber, and who keeps our table filled with drinks and food. Good wine list, gigantic beer list (no kidding, like 2 feet tall). Our group of 4 were... More

As locals, we have been coming here occasionally for years. The food is never great, but on this occasion after taking a sip of a terrible wine, my husband said he couldn't drink and could we please get a bottle of something else? The waitress replied very rudely,"well what's your reason, my boss won't let me take this back", my... More

We went with 3 families to celebrate a high school graduation. The waiter and waitress were attentive but intrusive at times, out of the blue reaching across to supply plates or utensils. That was annoying. We couldn't get bread in the beginning because that is not how things are done there. You have to wait until after the cracker and... More

Nice facility, very good atmosphere, great staff, really friendly and talkative locals, and very good food. I had the prime rib which was fine, but not quite the "to-die-for" quality the locals proclaimed. All in all, I would say it was the best of the finer dining establishments we visited during our trip.
