Beautiful scenery and great waiter but the food was terrible. The grilled grouper was so over cooked and dry with no flavor. They serve it with tasteless white rice. The manager apologized and offered to give me a new piece after sitting there 30 min. I said no but they never offered to compensate by maybe even throwing in my... More

We ate here on a Friday night at sunset. We were told the wait would be 45-60 minutes. It really only took 20 minutes. We were seated on the patio at the rail. We had the perfect seat for sunset! The drinks were delicious. They are famous for their grouper. My husband liked it! I saw a huge salad delivered... More

Deserves it's position for the quality and volume of food as well as great position on absolute beachfront. Ordered shared appetisers between 4 of us of calamari and onion rings. Massive and delicious. I had the "4 Kings" which was a combo of shrimp, scallops, grouper and crab cake. You can have it cooked several ways but I went for... More

The wait staff was attentive. For medical reasons I must be gluten free, the staff knew what gluten free meant and we're willing and able to accommodate even providing a gluten free menu. Be aware that because this place is on the beach and has affordable options there are likely to be screaming children nearby and no guarantee that the... More

Patio is a great place to sit and have lunch...views of the beach, water and dunes. Parking can fill up fast though!

Great view. Great service. Great food. I recommend the grouper sandwich and garlic aioli crab fries as an appetizer. We loved this place!

2 stars because of the hair cooked into my calamari ick.ick ick. Manager took it off and offered free ceviche. But ruined my appetite. Food was good we shared a kings plate. Ceviche is nothing but a lot of cabbage no flavor. Lucky to get 2 stars bc of the hair, gross.

The place looked fun on the outside, but inside is a different story. We had a horrible waiter. He was kind of a douche who seemed like he didn't want to be there. He was quick and kind of snappy. The food was so-so, nothing to rant or rave about. It's comparable to long john silver's...I got the clam strip... More

We had lunch here and enjoyed our meals very much. As others have said, the food is good, the staff hard working and pleasant and the beach location great. Our only suggestion would be to eat outside. The inside dining area is very loud. Just be aware that there are volleyball nets set up in the area between the restaurant... More

I am in Clearwater at least five times a year for the past 25 years. EVERY trip, I go to Frenchy's. It's the best place to hang out, have a cold beer, eat great food and enjoy the beach and ocean views. You must try this place if you're ever in Clearwater.
