Fun beach town place!

We had just arrived in tow and were looking for a well rated place to eat. I had the grilled grouper tacos. The fish was great, very fresh and the tacos were decent. I felt like they could have used a little more flavor as in some kind of sauce with a little kick or something. Just were not as... read more

Food was excellent. Fish was delicious & fresh. Many craft beers available. Atmosphere was very relaxed and comfortable. Meal time was very busy, we got in quickly, but seating was tight and we were within arms reach of other tables.

I first discovered Frenchy's Saltwater Cafe several years ago. Food is excellent. I'd highly recommend the octopus - prepared either of two ways - the Greek style is amazing. Their grouper is tender and tasty. But, best of all.....the she-crab soup is unrivaled by any other restaurant. I'd recommend a cup - although you'll want a bowl, it is quite... More

This restaurant was very good with fast seating. It reminded us of Mexico. The fish tacos and the grouper sandwich were amazing. The staff were very pleasant. Would definitely go back here.

The seafood dishes were all delicious with plenty of choices. Great service at reasonable prices. Well worth the drive there even though traffic was congested.

My fiancé and I popped into Frenchy's after taking a stroll on the beach. We sat at the bar and when the bartenders learned it was his birthday, the party began! They were super friendly and very attentive. We had a couple of appetizers, with the conch fritters being the biggest hit for us. Our beverage of choice was their... More

The view is nice, and the food is good, but it's just too crowded during peak hours. Wait times at dinner are long. I had one really bad experience when my sister and I went. We couldn't get anyone to wait on us, so we left. We walked over to the Original Frenchys and were taken care of immediately. It... More

We visited my Boyfriend's Cousins in Clearwater and they took us to Frenchy's Saltwater Cafe. Friends of ours had recommended we go there while in Clearwater, so we were pleased! It was a late meal, and although we got a table quickly, the place was still packed for dinner at 9:00pm. Our table split a few apps, including the Ceviche,... More

Best grouper sandwich ever! Mahi mahi is also top flight. Can't go wrong with the calimare and if you enjoy Florida oysters and they have them, definitely get a dozen or two. The clam chowder is also a big hit. If it sounds like I am reciting the menu, well We frequent The Saltwater especially when out of town visitors... More
