The food was good - beach fare with excellent beer. Good Music and attentive waiter. We stayed at the Hilton and this was a very convenient place. There is a free shuttle (drivers work for tips) that will take you there is you do not want to drive.

We eat at one of the Frenchy's restaurants on a regular basis and routinely take out of town guests there. We have never been disappointed with their Group Sandwiches. The Saltwater Café is one block off the beach and has on site parking - rare at the Beach. In/Outdoor seating (outdoor is the best), a good bar/beer selection, a casual... More

Frenchys was recommended to us by a old fisherman on Pier 60. We never would have found it if we didn't get directions. We ordered grouper tacos, onion straws, house salad and crab fries. Everything was very good. Its a relaxed and comfortable place. I am glad we listed to the recommendation and made the effort to find it. It... More

The view is amazing, the food bland. We ordered a dozen oysters and found 2 small razor-sharp shell slivers in the oysters. 1 I bit into and then sifted through then others and found 1 more. I informed the server and she was ho-hum and said "it's just from shucking and part of the shell"... amazing....no, it's a tiny razor...... More

I've been eating at the various Frenchy's restaurants on Clearwater Beach for 25 years. Visited again with friends and had the old standby - fried grouper sandwich. Again I wasn't disappointed. Cold beer, fried grouper and gulf breezes - doesn't get much better than that for a casual night out.

After many recommendations to this place and planning a trip to the beach we decided to go for it. My only complaint is that the address didn't register correctly in the garmin and we drove in circles for a bit. The atmosphere and service was very good. We didn't have just one server, but many helped take care of our... More

I've eaten at Frenchy's for several years and you can't go wrong with the grouper s'wich .... the Sunday brunch bloody marys are killer if Jennifer is on duty ... also go for an app of calamari ... as usual, I sit at the bar for outstanding service There are a bunch of the Frenchys restaurants in town, they are... My sister recommended Frenchy's so we had to check it out. We enjoyed the location a lot -- right on the beach and beautiful view, even though it was raining while we were there. We sat outside under the canopy and enjoyed the view and stayed dry. I ordered the fried shrimp and onion rings and hubby got the seafood... More

This is the original Frenchy's. It is small but serves delicious grouper cheeks. Cute gift shop next door.
