Frenchy's was once the best casual restaurant on Clearwater beach. We've been there a couple hundred times. Unfortunately, Frenchy's food and service has suffered with it's success. For years it was great food with reasonable prices and great friendly service. The true definition of a local favorite. First there was the Original, then Saltwater, then the others. Now the food... I had the fried grouper sandwich at Frenchy's. This was my first time eating here and I pleased. I must admit I was hoping to have a repeat of the grouper sandwich we received a day before down the strip at Toucan's, but it didn't measure up! It was still delicious even though Toucan's grouper sandwich was better! But the... More

The Frenchy's chain serves up good seafood in a very casual (e.g. appealing) beachy atmosphere. Seafood is primarily fried but steamed hot and cold are also available. Seafood is very fresh. Grouper sandwiches are very hefty, fresh, and well cooked although the batter is very spicy. Rolls are incredibly fresh. Prices are very reasonable. All are very similar - Rockaway's... More

What a wonderful little dive with a wonderful staff. Have been here a few time and always have an outstanding meal from a service staff who cares. Don't look at the outside and drive by. Go inside and enjoy.

My boyfriend and I had lunch at Frenchy's the other day, many it was great. We shared a bowl of seafood packed seafood gumbo, and a the super grouper Reuben. Yum!! We sat at the bar and received great service. The clientele was a mix of tourists and locals. Don't skip Frenchy's if you're in Clearwater Beach!

My wife and I were in Clearwater Beach for a short vacation and at the suggestion of some local police we decided to try both Frenchy's and Palms Pavilion. Food was excellent at Frenchy's. Both of us had the Cajun Grouper sandwiches. I thought they were better at Frenchy's, my wife thought the Blackened Grouper sandwich at Palm's was better.... More

Stopped in for dinner after visiting the Cleawater Marine Aquarium. Enjoyed the food, but found the cajun versions a bit overpowering.

We're staying at Frenchys Oasis Motel and were given vouchers for drinks or appetisers in all their restaurants. Had lunch here and it was lovely. Presentation was really good - lots of comments from other guests asking what we were having

We eat at a Frenchy's every time we are in the area. Good service, great seafood, priced reasonably. Never been disappointed!
