Pinellas County south of Ulmerton Road has a distinct lack of top Mexican Restaurants. (Red Mesa is really good, but it's more California-Mexican fusion.) Tuscon's is average, but sadly, about as good as it gets. more

The food is way below average! I went there recently and ordered the Beef Chimichanga which tasted like it came out of a frozen dinner box. My rice had a greasy consistency and some pieces were hard as a rock like it had sat around all day. The beans were the cheapest, nastiest brand you can buy from a can.... more
