We returned with a large party a week after our last visit to this great restaurant in late December, 2013 (reviewed below) to find it close under mysterious circumstances, tables still set but the signs ripped out and gone. Rumors from drive-by spies said there seemed to be activity there recently, and a follow-up call today to the same old Mythos... More

As mentioned by other reviewers, this Greek restaurant (not really a "taverna") is neatly hidden in an office building in in the ICOT office park. There is a sign as you enter northbound on 58th st from Ulmerton Rd- turn in, park, and around the corner of the building is the restaurant. Good luck finding the entrance to the restaurant... More

I don't eat Greek food often, but this is one of the better Greek restaurants I've ever been to. From the outside, it may look a little deceiving at first as an actual restaurant location because it appeared to be la part of a corporate business building. My wife and I came in when they were finishing the belly dancing,... More

Kinda have to look for this place as it is not out in the open. Once inside, the setup is quite nice. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice with the dimmed lighting. I am not a Greek expert but the food was great and came out pretty quick considering how busy they were. Wish we could have... More

I love Mediterranean food and this place was fantastic! Try the platter of dips - hummus, tzaziki, an eggplant dip like Babaganoush, and this feta dip that is amazing. All served with fresh pita bread, olives, and dolmas. This restaurant is in a building that looks like an office building on the outside, but is very cozy on the inside... More

From the time you enter in you are welcomed with smiling faces.. Our waiter was very very informative and didn't miss anything, ask for Matt and you won't be disappointed...

Found the place using Groupon and sooo glad we went. Great food, service, and atmosphere. There's no need to go to Tarpon Springs when this is closer. Very authentic!! Will definitely go back.

I was taken to this place by a friend and wow was I surprised! I had never seen in driving around the area and boy was I missing out! The food is amazing and so well priced. Not to mention the staff is super attentive and the view is beautiful on a lunch hour or otherwise. What a wonderful place... More

During our recent trip to Treasure Island, we drove to Mythos to have dinner on June 21 (I had a $25 restaurant.com certificate to use, $35 minimum purchase). We each had a nice, fresh garden salad, along with good bread. For an appetizer we had baked feta, which was excellent. For entrees, my wife had spanakopita (spinach and feta baked... More

This was our second time at Mythos for lunch. The menu is quite extensive and offers everything from lamb shanks to seafood, to kabobs of all sorts to gyros and salads. We ordered the meat lovers plate and a chicken and sausage dish in a tomato based sauce over orzo from the dinner menu. Both were absolutely delicious. Even the... More
