This establishment is very clean. I noticed this straight away, good selection of drinks. The sangria is lovely. Also good to be able to see pictures of the meals before we ordered. The edamame dip is served with prawn crackers for done weird reason, not to my taste. But artichoke and spinach dip was amazing! Steaks were lovely. The sea... More

We are never disappointed when we stop in at Carmel Cafe. The food is always fresh and their french fries are to die for. The staff are just great and so pleasant. The atmosphere is so Mediterranean as with the food. If you just stop in for a glass of wine or for a meal you will not be disappointed.... More

Wednesday for half price wine - gotta love it, Sangria Sunday half price with prix-fixe menu - awesome, all in all if you are local, or even visiting the area....You cannot find a better place to eat, drink, and be merry. Manager, Staff & Servers are friendly. The $4 Appetizers as well as the Small Plates are a good deal,... More

Worth a visit. Enjoy meals you can't get everywhere else. Prices are fair. Portions are reasonable and not over the top.

I looked online and heard great reviews about this place but the service was terrible and the food only mediocre. I would only go here for wine and appetizers if you are even going to try it. They have a $4 menu for happy hour and the server appeared annoyed that we even wanted to order off of it. Definitely... More

We are locals and visit Carmel Cafe frequently. It's a hip little place with indoor and outdoor seating. Food is always excellent and served pretty fast - so it's an easy stop over if you are going to concert or if you want to take your time, that works too. You can order dinner size portions or tapas size. We... More

Visited this location prior to attending a concert. We were seated immediately. We really enjoyed ordering using the IPad. Although you can order via the IPad, our server was very attentive and willing to help. Our food was served quickly and tasted great. Overall the experience was a different but pleasant surprise.

I understand that this place is a tapas kind of place but when you figure that a small tapas plate cost you $8 to $12, in other restaurants that's the full on meal with salad etc.. So I feel it's overly priced. But other people like it alot. Might be just the wine I'm not sure if its the food... More

Emily, Billy, and the chef (sorry, I missed his name) are to be commended for their excellence! We had a large party with lots of appetizers, Arancini was my husband's fav, I loved the shrimp ceviche, we passed plates of flatbread, Calamari Frit & what ever else went wizzing by! I had the Mediterranean Sea Bass--YUM, hubby had Bolognese-said it... More

We had a tasty meal with excellent service for $50 including one drink. The tapas-based menu had a great variety. Would definitely go there again.
