Worth a visit. Enjoy meals you can't get everywhere else. Prices are fair. Portions are reasonable and not over the top.

I looked online and heard great reviews about this place but the service was terrible and the food only mediocre. I would only go here for wine and appetizers if you are even going to try it. They have a $4 menu for happy hour and the server appeared annoyed that we even wanted to order off of it. Definitely... More

We are locals and visit Carmel Cafe frequently. It's a hip little place with indoor and outdoor seating. Food is always excellent and served pretty fast - so it's an easy stop over if you are going to concert or if you want to take your time, that works too. You can order dinner size portions or tapas size. We... More

Visited this location prior to attending a concert. We were seated immediately. We really enjoyed ordering using the IPad. Although you can order via the IPad, our server was very attentive and willing to help. Our food was served quickly and tasted great. Overall the experience was a different but pleasant surprise.

I understand that this place is a tapas kind of place but when you figure that a small tapas plate cost you $8 to $12, in other restaurants that's the full on meal with salad etc.. So I feel it's overly priced. But other people like it alot. Might be just the wine I'm not sure if its the food... More

Emily, Billy, and the chef (sorry, I missed his name) are to be commended for their excellence! We had a large party with lots of appetizers, Arancini was my husband's fav, I loved the shrimp ceviche, we passed plates of flatbread, Calamari Frit & what ever else went wizzing by! I had the Mediterranean Sea Bass--YUM, hubby had Bolognese-said it... More

We had a tasty meal with excellent service for $50 including one drink. The tapas-based menu had a great variety. Would definitely go there again.

We ate here on a Friday night, and we were pleasantly surprised. I did not know the restaurant was there, but it was great. Guests order their food and drinks, summon their server, and even pay the bill on the iPad delivered when you are seated. I had the salmon and my wife had the crab cakes. The food was... More

The food here is excellent. My favorite the steak and fries. So good . So surprised this rating is not higher. Edamame hummus a must. Nice atmosphere, outdoor seating. Good value.

Our first visit, and I was impressed. Sleek, modern and a nice array of options. You can even opt for a small plate or standard order. Service was spectacular. My favorite though? The poached pear dessert was ambrosia. Served with a seal salt/Carmel sauce, this was my top pick.
