Great Value for Happy Hour!

I have been to Carmel many, many times over the last few years. It has a unique tapas style menu with unique flavors. Some of our favorites are the chick pea fries, the mini mezza platter, the tomato basil flat bread and the empanadas. We are partial to mostly the appetizers as we are frequent... read more

Reserved table for 10 on New Year's Eve, offered specials and bottles of wine for a not too expensive birthday. I've been here several times and I definitely recommend their gnocchi, it is awesome.

Went on a Wednesday around 5:30. Called ahead to make a reservation, was asked if it was for a special occasion. I stated yes in fact it's an Anniversary dinner. Arrived and was seated and sat of a full 10 minutes before any one came near us. Restaurant was not crowded. When a waiter approached our table, he did apologize.... More

This restaurant had very nice Valentine's Day specials, plus they decorated the restaurant with rose petals.... very romantic place, soft lighting, and the best Sangria, I suggest the pressed Sangria, it is extremely good. They also gave a rose to ladies that ordered from their valentine's day special menu. And not only do they take reservations, they honor them! LOL... More

Yesterday a large group of my friends and I had lunch at the Carmel Cafe in Clearwater. I made a reservation and was pleased to see a cozy, private section at the front of Carmel was set up and ready for our group. The two servers who were to take care of us introduced themselves to me and were very... More

Not worth the money. We went early around 5:30 on a Saturday. It was slow which is what we wanted, and by the time we left they had gotten busy. First takes for ever to get your first drink. The appetizers came before the drinks. Apps were okay. Nothing to write home about. My wife ordered the lobster risotto. I... More

Food is slightly middle eastern with unusual flatbreads and mezza choices. You can order a small or large serving for many items with corresponding price differential. And, you order wine at 3 or 6 or 9 ounces. View the tablside ipad to see photos of dishes and drinks. Staff is friendly. Decor most comfortable.

The lobster bisque was delicious and everyone in our party raved about the chickpea fries served with a tomato jam. There is a variety of salad offerings. The atmosphere was light and the use of technology kept our teenagers occupied during dinner. The wine selection was good and all enjoyed the evening.

We had made reservations or at least called to be on their list, so sat at the ad until the table was ready. Of course a good selection of wine. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming on this busy Friday evening. We only wanted a light dinner so went with lighter fare, the lobster pizza is delicious. Fun evening of... More

I was visiting the area and joined a friend for dinner. Looking at the menu, I was really pleased with the choices. We both ended up ordering the house salad and the lobster risotto. The salad was good, but the risotto was hardly risotto. For one, it was obvious Arborio rice wasn't used and that they just tossed some creamy... More
