We were down in the Everglades area sightseeing, alligator seeing and this restaurant was reccomended to us by one of the locals. What a treat it was! Beautiful setting, very relaxed atmoshpere and delicious cuban sandwiches with a little fried plantain on the side. I highly reccomend it.

The Havana Cafe was a pleasant surpise. We went to Everglades City from Marco Island to look around. We ended up in Chokoloske, which is about 3 miles south of EGC. We were looking for a place for lunch and the Hanava Cafe look like a good local place to go. It was delicious. My wife had the pork hot... More

We shared the stone crab appetizer and each had the special which was a variety of shellfish in a marinara sauce. The crabs and special were excellent. I also had the homemade sangria that was very tasty. The dinner was so good that we went back for lunch the next day. My husband had the Dulce's Cuban sandwich and I... More

Great little restaurant although very busy when we were there for dinner. There was some waiting before the food was served but their seafood is really worth it. We had Grouper and lobster bisque as well as a key lime pie for dessert. The price is reasonable and the atmosphere is really charming.

Five stars on food, service and setting! This roadside garden courtyard gets you into the laid back island feel the minute you walk in the door. The staff is very friendly with you and each other. Food is superb. I had local rock crab with a Cuban sauce. My son had his snapper just caught that morning prepared along with... More

This little gem is excellent! They serve fresh local seafood with a Cuban zing cooked to perfection, and it's on the water.

We enjoyed our lunch very much! The shrimp and rice dish was delicious as was the Cuban sandwich. Being outside in the lovely yard was a plus. Our service was so-so-seems that our orders were delayed for some reason. In spite of that, we'd return for more.

This is a good restaurant for a tourist location--meaning do NOT expect gourmet meals like you eat up in Naples. You come here to tour the Everglades on a boat, and not for the food. So don't expect anything outstanding. You miss the point of this place: to serve hungry tourists. Still, this is a pleasant restaurant and the staff... More
