All the locals raved about this little restaurant. It's out on Chokoloskee Island.. and is a hidden treasure!! The sound and aroma as you enter the front door, take you back to Old Havana... Plenty of seating in the garden under the trees and stars, or inside... both have their own magical allure. The owner / chef, Carlos came to... More

Awesome food, staff is super nice. Great place, beautiful outdoor seating. Favorite place to escape and enjoy the cool weather this time of year too. Thanks again!

Our Southwest Florida Miata Club arranged to eat lunch at Havana Cafe during our visit to Chokoloskee. The restaurant is small and very "Florida". Most of the seating is outside - which is great for November when we went. It was like sitting in a tropical garden. I had the media noche sandwich, and my husband had the pulled pork... More

My goodness such a gem at the end of the road. started business as breakfast and lunch only, but now open for dinner too. They specialize in seafood, but that will mean you would miss the pork and it is amazing, don't miss it. They have beautiful outside seating and weather almost everyday to take advantage of it! Enjoy!

We had lunch here and it was really good. The place has a great atmosphere and the wait staff is friendly/attentive. My family each had a different lunch item, all were tasty! I would highly recommend this place. It's worth stopping for lunch or dinner!

Just okay for us, but we did hear that the grouper they were serving later on in the day was actually authentic and not some of the stuff some other restaurants try to pass off at a slightly lower price. We just did not have time to stay and sample it, so my review might have been more positive.

Good service and great food despite being obviously busy. We were each going to get a Cuban sandwich but the waiter advised us to share one unless we were VERY hungry and he was right, half was plenty.

Really good food and cuban coffee for breakfast, with a lot of local ambience. Try the omelets with Cuban ingredients. Wished we could have gone back for dinner, but had to move along.

Only once before in my life did I happen upon the best food of my life. That was in Tuscany, Italy when my friends and I stumbled on a culinary school/restaurant in the middle of nowhere. But after landing at Chokoloskee's airport we decided to eat at the Havana Café, based on a recommendation. Dulce, the owner's delightful wife, personally... More
