This was highly recommended by our Guide at the Everglades Park and the cuban was his suggestion. It was their last day, at the end of the season, and the were OUT OF BREAD! It was disappointing. We ended up having the Mahi Mahi wrap and Shrimp wrap. Interestingly enough, we ordered side salads despite the wraps coming with salad... More

Well, we went fishing one morning with decent success. So for lunch, part of our catch we gave to Carlos who turned it into some great burritos. A really nice touch to a day out on the water. Food was very good and service was perfect and fishing had been successful. Now what more is there to life.

My husband had the Cuban sandwich, I had the mahi mahi wrap and the kids had quesadilla and grilled cheese. Everyone had a huge smile on their face. Freshest tastiest food on the trip and a great "I'm in the islands" vibe. Perfect!

During the November-March season I consider myself a regular at Havana Cafe. Not only is the food authentically Cuban, but the outdoor tables are a relaxing place to sit and enjoy my meal. Best of all is getting to be waited on by Dilcia - what a delight! She is always so friendly, has WONDERFUL energy, and makes the best... More

we enjoyed wonderful sea food at the Havana Cafe and had so much fun interacting with our servers. Dulcia was especially entertaining. Well worth the trip. We did lunch but the place is packed so go after 1:30. We heard their breakfast is really great.

Modest menu of simply prepared and beautifully seasoned fresh food. The best meal we had during a week in the Everglades and a nice change from battered and fried dishes. Lovely patio and friendly service.

We loved the food at Havana Cafe. Great sea food prepared with just a bit of spice. For vegetarians they can fix a quite good black beans and rice dish with plantains. Be forewarned that you may have to wait without reservations for dinner (only Friday and Saturday I think) and that, if you want their paella, you must call... More

This is THE place to eat on Chokoloskee. Ask anyone. This is it. I had shrimp. My daughter had grouper. We were both very happy.

Great huevos rancheros and omelettes, and wonderful cafe con leche. There was a fun mix of music playing in the small café. We ate inside because it was first thing in the morning but they also had outside seating. You can also buy postcards here and mail them at the post office right next door.
