Since this was the only restaurant on this island, we tried it for lunch while visiting the Everglades. The Cuban sandwich was delicious. My grandsons were pleased with their food, too.The staff was friendly and the atmosphere inviting.

We ate breakfast and lunch here. Breakfast was okay with big portions. We wouldn't have returned but other friends wanted to give it a try. Lunch was better than breakfast as far as the food goes. As bad luck would have it, we ended up with the same useless waitress. Boy what an attitude she had. She bad mouthed other... More

In a small community with tropical landscaping, it was a great find. Very friendly, busy - tour buses also stop by. Good prices And food. Inside and outside seating, lots of umbrellas and flowers. Relaxing.

I have to admit we had heard so many great things about this cafe that I was disappointed with my meal. I ordered the mahi mahi and it was average. I think I could have better in my local area of Kansas City. However the people I was with ordered some of the other sandwiches which I tasted and they... More

We had lunch on the cozy patio: stone crab, mahi-mahi, and shrimps in Chef Carlos' special sauce. All was fantastically fresh and delicious. Our son loved the key lime pie. A pity that the place closes at 3 pm, we would have gone for dinner, too.

Was there with my wife. Enjoyed a very good atmosphere on the outside patio with friendly staff, good food at fantastic weather. Too bad they are closing during summer but you couldn't stay outside due to the weather and bugs. But they will be back in autumn and so will we.

Food is very good! Black beans are the best I have ever tasted! Can't wait until I go back! Check beforehand the hours. They are not what trip advisors list. Sunday April 12 is the last day they are open. They will close until October. A must visit if you are in the Everglades or South Naples!

Our three generation family of six ate here yesterday after our airboat ride at Speedy's (see separate review for an enthusiastic recommendation). Havana Cafe is a small bungalow style restaurant with a large garden style outdoor patio that's well landscaped to make you forget you're practically sitting on the street. I love open air dining and was encouraged by the... More

Who would think there would be a quality cafe in Everglades City, Florida? Not me. Took my family there after Airboat ride in Everglades City. It was perfect. Sat outside in the shade. Nice breeze. Cuban sandwiches. Enjoyed this very much.
