The barbecue was odd. It was sliced like thick roast beef. I got the sandwich and it was a whole lot of bread then some of the sliced stuff. My hubby got the ribs and said they were on the dry side. But to be fair the baked beans were out of this world! I tasted the hubby's and ordered... More

We have been to BBQ Bill's twice before to hike in some local state parks. But it has been awhile. We stopped here on a Saturday at about 11:30 for lunch. I thought I was very hungry and I ordered a large pork sandwich. I had a side order of fries and a 'coke' though it tasted flat. I should... More

I stopped here while passing through. The servers were very friendly and nice, and the speed with which the food was delivered was amazingly fast. However... After looking over the menu, I asked where the pulled pork was. I was surprised to hear that they don't have any pulled meats. So I ended up ordering the pork platter; my wife... More

I read the reviews on Trip advisor and decided to stop there 2 nights ago after driving up from Largo. They sat us alone in the back of the restaurant. Our waitress came fairly quick and took our order. My husband and I both had the small pork sandwich, baked beans and fries. our meal was cold when it arrived... More

We plan our return trips from central Florida to Alabama around this place. It's always the same, very good. I'm looking forward to returning next month and will stop on the way there and back. Stick to barbecue as that's what they do (pass on Reuben, etc.).

From all the reviews on Tripadvisor, I would have sworn I stopped at the wrong restaurant. We had a 2-hr drive to Crystal River from Live Oak and we gave up eating at Akin's in Bell to try the BBQ at Bills. Big mistake. No Baby Back Ribs, No pulled Pork or Chicken. Not a big deal; we just ordered... More

Had brisket with beans and slaw. All was specially good and not greasy. Homemade BBQ sauces were tasty tangy.

We passed through Chiefland pretty hungry one evening and aside from chain restaurants, it is lacking in its choices. We saw the crowded parking lot, but still hesitated because the place looked a little worn out. Then we asked the guy next to us in traffic (in his huge pick-up truck with the windows rolled down) if BBQ Bills was... More

Great service, great food, good price. And the best baked beans ever. The location is a perfect spot for a quick lunch on the way to the State Park. The salad bar was nice too.
