Description: Family-owned and operated for over 110 years, Columbia has earned acclaim...
Family-owned and operated for over 110 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine and wine list. Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Filet Mignon "Columbia," and fresh seafood specialties. Don't miss Columbia's Original "1905" Salad(R), prepared tableside with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a 100-year-old family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil. Be sure to sample a fine Spanish wine like Torres, Montecillo or Campillo. Relax outdoors in our cafe or courtyard, or inside our Tapas Bar or Mediterranean-style dining rooms filled with hand-painted tiles and family heirlooms. We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365-days a year, including all holidays.

Nice restaurant - good food - prefer the one in Ybor City

Nice and friendly restaurant in a lovely place - food was good with plenty of options and the service was good as well. Don't know why but the restaurant in Ybor was better and as a family we all thought this - I think the atmosphere was better and the whole aura of the place mad it stand out.

My family enjoyed dinner at this Columbia Restaurant last week. We had a light meal of their Cuban sandwich with plantain chips and the mussels with chorizo. Both entrees were a great price and full of flavor. There are also kids menu items that picky eaters will enjoy. There is plenty of free parking in the area & if the... More

Let's me start with the quality of the ingredients, the lettuce of my 1905 salad did not look fresh, the dressing was bland, and also too much dressing. My Snapper "adelita" was lukewarm and the taste was completely off from what was described on the menu. Second Dish was Ropa Vieja, the shredded beef was swimming in tomato sauce also... More

We have been to the Columbia in both Sarasota and Celebration and everything is always wonderful. However, this time we had an exceptional dining experience all due to our waitress. She had so much fun taking our order. She was surprised I wanted to substitute the good rice with yellow rice. Well she then explained how wonderful it was but... More

Columbia in Celebration is always worth the visit. The Yellow Rice is the best we have ever had in a restaurant. Everything else is always excellent. Servers were extremely friendly, great with out kids and on top of things. When in Celebration definitely stop in for lunch or dinner.

The food and service were wonderful. I had the mahi mahi and my husband had the cuban sandwich. Both were delicious. The only negative we had was that they only serve unsweetened iced tea but that really isn't important. We will definitely return!

We were attracted by the idea of some Spanish food and wine for our first night's dinner in Celebration. Our expectations weren't very high but even then were not met. Our server, David, was wonderful but even he couldn't compensate for the poor food. We chose tapas and the albondigas were OK, but the tortilla espanol had too much potato... More

There isn't much to rave about here.. Columbia offers mediocre Spanish food. My Cuban combo dish was not all that great either, the meat was overcooked and dry. My wife's vegetable paella was tasteless and my daughters mixed tapas dishes were bland! We eat in Spain a lot, we actually live there for part of the year and lived there... More

We are all locals that were there to celebrate on a Saturday evening for a birthday! Cannot say how graciously our servers were to us! Preparing both the white and red sangria and then salads at table side. All of our meals were spot on and delicious. They helped serve our friends favorite cake but not before a rousing vertuoso... My family and I went there for lunch and I tell you it was a great meal. Lori our waitress was fantastic!!!! The place itself was very inviting, the meals were delicious. You are first served with bread fresh from the oven, soft and warm; each of us had our own individual warm piece and when butter is added, it... More
