The Island hotel is a real gem in these days of modernity and conformity. Rustic and whimsical, you can feel the early years all around you. We just had dinner here, and it was an excellent choice. The steamer clam appetizers were nicely done, but I was surprised they did not serve raw oysters. My wife had the redfish while... More

Average food, fish over cooked for all in group, another fish substituted for redfish...excellent homemade salad dressing on Caesar salad but needed fresh Parmesan & not shredded processed

Started with martinis in in the small but friendly bar. Enjoyed the diverse company and conversation. Embarked to the dining room in this very old hotel building. Wonderfil dining experience with Richie attending to our needs. My filet was prepared charred rare and perfect. Nice bottle of Hess Select. The lady had the fish and seemed content. Mucho fun evening.

Nice and quiet corner. Attentive server. Best filet cooked as ordered in a LONG time. Good value for the price. Free BD dessert.

I don't have enough experience with this restaurant to rate it 5 stars but I bet it deserves it. We ate on the porch, but the bar had live music (not loud rock) and was bustling with activity. Lots of laughter and very inviting.

We always make a point to eat here because they offer lamb chops, which are my husband's favorite. Very good food, but it is pricier than most restaurants on the island.

Made reservations for dinner we're glad we did. Thankfully we came at 6PM when we had a choice of seating because the room filled up immediately. Karen, our waitress tends a lighthouse in Maine in the summer and she took great care of us. My husband loved the Ahi Tuna. I was inventive and ordered three appetizers: the clam bisque.... More

The Restaurant was excellent starting with real southern hospitality, good service and ending with fantastic Key Lime Pie. The real star however was the Shrimp and Grits with Bacon Gravy!!! It is worth a special trip just for this dish. We ate at the other restaurants in the village some higher rated but none came even close to our dinner... More

This is one of the best kept secrets on the island. The Neptune Lounge which is in the back of the hotel has one of best Cheese Burgers you will ever have!
