Description: Welcome to Tony's in the beautiful island community of Cedar Key. We are located in the Hale Building (circa 1880) in the downtown historical district across the street from the historical museum at 2nd Street and SR 24. Tony's is noted for our 3 time World Champion Clam Chowder and our fresh seafoods. We are a small 54 seat restaurant and very popular. During peak times (1-3pm) and (7-8pm) there maybe a wait for a table. We provide covered bench seating right outside the front entry. Please be patient if all tables are taken. Our wait staff is great at getting everyone in, especially those that are patient. Our inside front dining area has no waiting area, so please allow us to visit you outside the front covered area when your table is ready. At Tony's our policy is total customer satisfaction. If there is anything about your dining experience that is not acceptable, please inform your server right away and our Management staff will do whatever it takes to make sure you are completely satisfied with your dining experience. We love compliments from our diners and always encourage them to contact us. Thank you for making Tony's Seafood Restaurant Cedar Key's favorite for nearly 8 years.

This fine seafood restaurant offers some of the finest seafood we have ever had and we travel quite a bit. Clam chowder -- the best! Took some home. Shrimp and scallops are supreme as are the local clams. Waitress was super friendly and helpful. Prices are very fair. Walking distance to our motel- Gulf Side.

The service staff were efficient and pleasant. The food was excellent and the highly touted Clam Chowder was better than advertised. Ver ghood meal.

We visited Tony's after having watched a food network special about the award winning clam chowder served at this little cafe in the heart of Cedar Key. Our group consisted of two families with 4 children between us and everyone was able to find something they enjoyed on the menu-even the finicky ones! Some tried clam chowder for the first... More

After eating the chowder here, I can see why they are "World Champions". When I go back, I'm going to get a bigger bowl! Everything else we had was decent, but the chowder was the king. The restaurant was small, but nice. Waite staff were friendly. Prices seemed a little high though.

The chowder was excellent, and I am not a huge chowder fan. Lots of flavor. We both ordered shrimp dishes and were very pleasantly surprised. Don't expect anything fancy. Very low key. We will definitely be back!

The best Chowder ever! Service was ok, but the food is great! A great place for lunch or even dinner with the view from their windows. Soft Shell Crab sandwich is amazing when they are in season, but Chowder is king here.

The Clam Chowder has won many awards and, having eaten there, we can say deservedly so! It is delicious. The other items on the menu are very good, the service is friendly. But the reason to go to Tony's is definitely the clam chowder.

The clam chowda is GEWD. But I take one star off because no pretty waitresses serve me. And the only view you get is of the realty company across the street. In fact, the only blonde in Cedar Key seems to be the heavyset lady who goes in and out of there. Sigh, where are the lovely ladies? But the... More

We stopped at Tony's to try the award winning clam chowder. A tiny restaurant nestled in an old historic building on 2nd Street. The clam chowder is worth the stop and deserving of it's accolades. Unimpressed by the other food on the menu however but will stop again next time through Cedar Key just for a bowl of chowder -... More

I'm from the state of Florida so I like to think I'm a pretty good judge of the catch of the day. Love this place from the old cracker-style building to their world famous (well deserved) chowder. They ply you with food especially if you try the crab boil, which I highly recommend.
