Description: Welcome to Tony's in the beautiful island community of Cedar Key. We are located in the Hale Building (circa 1880) in the downtown historical district across the street from the historical museum at 2nd Street and SR 24. Tony's is noted for our 3 time World Champion Clam Chowder and our fresh seafoods. We are a small 54 seat restaurant and very popular. During peak times (1-3pm) and (7-8pm) there maybe a wait for a table. We provide covered bench seating right outside the front entry. Please be patient if all tables are taken. Our wait staff is great at getting everyone in, especially those that are patient. Our inside front dining area has no waiting area, so please allow us to visit you outside the front covered area when your table is ready. At Tony's our policy is total customer satisfaction. If there is anything about your dining experience that is not acceptable, please inform your server right away and our Management staff will do whatever it takes to make sure you are completely satisfied with your dining experience. We love compliments from our diners and always encourage them to contact us. Thank you for making Tony's Seafood Restaurant Cedar Key's favorite for nearly 8 years.

The service is good, but the Clam Chowder is amazing! I can't speak to anything else on the menu as we ate here twice and had the chowder both times....oh and the hushpuppies aren't bad either :-)

We went to Tony's for an early dinner to avoid the rush. Went around 5pm on a Saturday and we were seated immediately. Waitress Melissa was very personable and answered all of our questions. I had the fried shrimp while my parents split the seafood platter for two. We also shared a cup of the "world famous clam chowder." (and... More

Yes... we went there especially for their clam chowder. They've won the Great Chowder Cook-Off in Newport, R.I. three years in a row and I can see (or rather, taste) why. Their clam chowder deserves its title. Because we went to Cedar Key at a slow time of year, in terms of tourism, we didn't have to wait in a... More

There is no way to describe the clam chowder at tony's. All their seafood is delicious. Servers are very friendly and ours gave us a piece of key lime pie on the house. Can't wait to go back soon.

My husband and I visited Cedar Key for Labor Day weekend and stayed at our favorite place...Faraway Inn. We placed a to-go order for chowder, fried clams (wanted steamed clams too, but they don't allow for to-go orders) and other items. The chowder was absolutely wonderful and very flavorful. Would definitely order again on our next trip to Cedar Key.... More

My boyfriend and I drove to Cedar Key to watch the sunset on Sunday and before we left we stopped by Tonys to have a bowl of clam chowder. I have to say I don't even like clams and this soup was amazing. Anyone who is in town needs to go here.for this soup.

We recently stopped in at Tony's in Cedar Key. We had heard of their claim to fame clam chowder and wanted to try it for ourselves. It was very good; even had a little kick to it! It was thick, not too many potatoes, lots are clams (did you know they use more than one kind of clam?) and as... More

The clam chowder was the best I've ever had. The crab cakes were great to! Our server was extremely nice and the experience was very pleasant.

This fine seafood restaurant offers some of the finest seafood we have ever had and we travel quite a bit. Clam chowder -- the best! Took some home. Shrimp and scallops are supreme as are the local clams. Waitress was super friendly and helpful. Prices are very fair. Walking distance to our motel- Gulf Side.

The service staff were efficient and pleasant. The food was excellent and the highly touted Clam Chowder was better than advertised. Ver ghood meal.
