Wife and I had dinner having the mahi..One blackened the other grilled. They were both dry, over cooked and a small thin piece of fish. We have had better from long John silver's. The clam chowder...Well I tried to find some clam's but to no avail. And service , friendly but slow. Our first visit to cedar key and my... More

We haven't been to Cedar Key in several years and were surprised by the changes that hurricanes have made. We had a wonderful lunch at Steamers to celebrate my husbands birthday. The food was delicious and is was beautiful sitting out over the water. Our waitress was very friendly and the service was good.

We had previously had a mediocre experience at this restaurant shortly after it opened so we were hesitant to try it again. However, Cedar Key has a lot of restaurant turn over by the pier and a water view was important for that meal. We were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and service. I had a crab... The interior decore at Steamers is absolutely adorable and the little private outdoor eating balconies have a fabulous view...then the food comes with a surly waitress and the rest goes all down hill. We ordered calamari for an appetizer and we should have sent it back because it was so over cooked it was like eating hockey pucks but we... More

Those that ordered clams thought they were delicious. Those in our party that ordered fish dip and other items, thought it was lackluster at best. Staff seemed very overwhelmed by the crowd of people on a Saturday evening, kept forgetting our table of 5 was even seated, so it took a while for a server to be assigned, but she... More

Fast service. Good food. We watched the kayaks from the window but they have outside tables. Shopping downstairs for t shirts and other souvenirs.

The view was great, the food very good. There was no children's menu, but our granddaughter did like the alfredo pasta. As others have noted, the snowcrab cluster (appetizer) was excellent. The steamed clams were good. It was difficult for my wife to make it up and down the stairs -- they could sure use an elevator. Happy hour wine... More

Right on Dock Street, tourist mecca. Music on weekends. Food traditional coastal dishes. Waitstaff attentive. Restuarant was filthy. Windows looked like they haven't been cleaned in years. Prices average for a tourist area.

If you like crab legs this is the place! The one pound dinner appears to be twice the legs in most 1# dinners (Red Lobster) Plus not boiled in just plain water, but spiced with Old Bay? A+ for both flavor and quantity. Other menu items also were very good.
