First night in town I wanted fresh/local oysters. Steamers delivered. It was dinner time and the restaurant wasn't busy but service was slow. She was friendly, just not in any hurry to greet us and check up on us. Oysters were great. The restaurant has the typical feel of a bar on the coast. Kinda sticky and in need of... More

This is an unpretentious restaurant with a gorgeous view. The beer selection is good and there are good happy hour specials at the bar including a nightly cocktail. The food was good and the value was too. No notable choices, just decent food and service. Take a seat outside to enjoy the local marine life!

Just what you would expect in Cedar Key. Fresh, well prepared seafood, great beer selection and a well-preserved band of rockers. We sat and had a nice leisurely dinner, listened to rock'n roll oldies and never felt rushed. It was a very enjoyable time in a very cool town. Enjoy!

My friends and I ate at Steamers for a girls day out in Cedar Key. The food was delicious and the service was very nice and efficient. Would go back. The fried shrimp was wonderful. My friends had grilled Mahi Mahi and said that it was delicious as well

My favorite meal is the Fish and Chips. The fish is a very nice size piece of Haddock in a very nice batter with crispy fries. Local residents receive a locals discount which is great. The servers we have had are always friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of the menu and drinks.

Hmm - really a bit of a disappointment without being downright bad. But the service was indifferent (friendly when it was given, but servers were absent for much of the time) and the food very average, although in fairness not expensive. The place was virtually empty (maybe we should have taken that as a sign) and lacked any atmosphere.

I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but the beer selection and steamed clams are excellent. We were there for lunch. My dish was a pound of steamed clams diablo, and my companion's a pound of clams steamed in the more usual white wine and garlic. Both preparations were a taste treat. Cedar Key clams are locally farmed... More

The clams came with delicious steaming hot garlic rolls, that is an incredible combination! Every day they offer $5 drink specials, so we had the Monday Margaritas which were nice. We had the seafood platter; grouper, shrimp, fries & slaw. It was huge & good. A couple of drinks and a window table made this a good choice. Our server was very good and helped us with advice on the food. The inside is just so cool, loved the decor. Would definitely return.
