One thing I can say about Cedar Key is that the food was good everywhere we dined. The place is a good walk up stairs and if it rains you are going to get wet but Cedar key is a place you can enjoy it. Very good food, nautical feel and friendly staff. definitely good here.

Great atmosphere, great food, great service, and friendly people!! My family and I really enjoyed our visit! I got the fish and chips while my sister got a cheeseburger. Absolutely impressed!

The view is better than the place honestly. It is okay, but not great by any means. I had some clams and they were good (you have to at least try clams since it is what that area is famous for), but the service and overall atmosphere was just okay.

We had the opportunity to eat at Steamers as we were staying overnight in the quaint little town of Cedar Key. We have eaten at alot of "tourist oriented" places over the years, and honestly thought that this would be the same type of place. We were wrong, which was good! My wife had the crab bisque which was great,... More

It's hard to tell if Steamers is a restaurant that serves booze or a bar that serves food. I think most people who see it for the first time would think the latter because it looks more like a bar. There are several great selections of craft beer along with the usual domestics. The fully stocked bar that takes up... More

Steamers is a "very" casual perfect little lunch place. Upstairs right on main street in town, with dining room overlooking the gulf, also have outside eating overlooking gulf. Very inexpensive, good selection of food, we had grilled/blackened shrimp tacos which were totally awesome, they came with one side, which we chose French, as our wait person said they were the... We went to Steamers while on a weekend outing on the recommendation of a local. The low country boil was awesome. Plenty of seafood for the price, all very tasty. The pasta with grilled chicken was average but a huge helping. Would have been nice to have bread with the pasta. However....the live music was so loud we couldn't have... More

We were pleasantly surprised with Steamers. We were expecting bar food and a good view but we got the view and also very good food and service. Would definitely return.

Went in for lunch....really nice menu with lots to choose from. The clams diablo was really good; a pound of steamed clams in a slightly spicy broth. Live music and cold drinks. Attentive service. Fair prices.

We were staying at Harbor Master Suites and wanted to grab some food around 9:45 on our first evening in town. We love live music, but it was so loud we couldn't hear one another and left with a headache. The coconut shrimp were delicious though... Wings were good, too- wanted two sauces mixed and I guess that is just... More
